I went looking and saw no thread for this.
Where are all the Joel McHale lovers?
Do you like this show, or does Chevy Chase being in it turn you off?
The premise is kind of hokey but there are some great lines for everyone not just Joel.

I missed the first episode or two but I've watched the rest off Hulu and I think it's a lot of fun. I just finished my third run through community college and think some of the hokey bits are valid. Chevy Chase was the "maybe not" moment in deciding to watch it but I think all of the characters work really well together and maybe it helps that he is written as a self-important jackass.

I love this show! McHale is adorable and plays a marvelous egotistical asshole. I hope they keep his character from being too sweet, too soon. Once I got past wondering why Trudy Campbell was in community college, I came to LOVE Alison Brie's character. She and Joel McHale have great chemistry... maybe better chemistry that he has with Britta, who they seem to be pushing as the main love interest.
The only thing I don't like about this show is Ken Jeong as the Spanish teacher. He's great in small doses, but when they plot whole episodes around him, he annoys me. But all the other supporting characters are amazing.

I love this show too! I think my favorite parts are the bits they show during the credits with Abed and Troy. Christmas Troy was hilarious, and I loved that they got Jeff to join in. And it's amazing to me that Allison Brie looks so mature and more like an adult on Mad Men but on this she actually does look like she could be a teenager. Make-up and wardrobe are wonderful things apparently.

Watch it, love it, and it's gotten much better since the first couple of episodes.

I love this show, and I love Abed (and Abed and Troy). I love Abed and his psychic movies, and the Halloween episode where he dressed as Batman and spoke in Christian Bale's gravelly voice the whole time.

I also like this show. What did the woman who was pushing Christmas say when she saw the menora? "Is that your Hannukah holder?". Something like that. It was funny. And then the Jewish Girl whispered to the baby Jesus figure "We know you're one of us".

The bits at the end with Abed and Troy are my favorite, but I really do enjoy the show in general. It's fun and silly, but with a bit of edge on occasion. Was that Anthony Michael Hall as the bully in the last episode?
