 Damn, I'd forgot how much I missed this show. This was easily in the top three of their best episodes. When the GoodFellas style narration and music kicked in, I nearly fell off my chair laughing. Bravo, Mr. Harmon! Bravo! Was it all Goodfellas, or were there other mob movie references too? I've only seen The GodFather I&II, and Casino once. But Goodfellas, at least 30.

The scene where Jeff leaves the group and they slowly close the door while he looks on sadly is from The Godfather, it's a parody of the last scene.

There was lots of Casino in there as well as Goodfellas.
For some reason, I loved the fact that Britta's luxury item was her own personal hairdresser. I also laughed when Abed mentioned that Britta has a tendency to compulsively filter her thoughts before they reach her mouth. Wow, Britas really are the best filters!

I liked that this week's episode gave some focus to Piers and Shirley, and their overall importance to the group.
I will never get sick of Joel's arms. Now, if only they could bring back the cowboy hat...
Abed and Troy are quickly joining Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot on my list of "Funniest TV duos."

I wonder if the writers had any idea had Abed & Troy would naturally link up. They're awesome together. I can't wait till the paintball massacre next week.
ETA: That scene from the Godfather was priceless.
