I feel like that's the most coordinated Kate/Camilla/Elizabeth have ever looked (barring stuff like Remembrance Day events where everyone wears black). They all look great and that is a LOT of bling.

I puffy heart love Kate's dress, and I love seeing her in the Lovers' Knot tiara. It suits her and I love the association with Diana. Camilla once again carries off the big Greville. I guess it's the scale of her hair. Am I to assume that the "Lover's Knot" tiara was a special made piece for Diana, and passed to William after her death, and not the Spencer tiara that gets loaned out from time to time? Keeping track of all this bling is confusing. lol No, it's actually a copy of a tiara that belonged to Queen Mary's family. The original was a wedding gift to Princess Augusta of Hesse-Kassel when she married the Duke of Cambridge, a son of George III in 1818. I believe it was a gift from the bride's family. She left it to her daughter, a German Grand Duchess and aunt to Queen Mary, and it eventually went to her granddaughter. Then it was sold to a German noble family in the early 1980s. I'm not sure if it is still with them. Queen Mary adored that tiara and had a copy made in 1913, dismantling an existing tiara, and taking some stones from others to create it. When seen, it is usually called the Cambridge Lover's Knot Tiara, but DUH-DUH-DUN, it's not! Queen Mary left the copy to HM, who wore it early in her reign. She gave it as a lifetime loan to Diana upon her marriage. I believe Diana chose to return it at the time of the divorce. Here are a couple of posts for those who want to read more or see the original tiara and the copy in in its various incarnations

Here's a round up of the most expensive jewels from the Bourbon-Parma auction. No. 1 will make your jaw drop at the price.

Apparently the Lovers Knot tiara tho associated with Diana was not a favorite with her it gave her a headache and was uncomfortable to wear she preferred her own family one The Spencer Tiara
My familiarity with Tiara wearing is well a bit sketchy (no clue) I'd assume they are not one size fits all and not very bendy to fit heads of varying sizes...

No. 1 will make your jaw drop at the price. Christ Almighty. I was born into the wrong family.

I just wanted to post the summary since it had everything all neatly listed. Sorry, I should have made that clear in my previous post that I was trying to continue that conversation.

Got it. Thanks for clarifying. That pendant isn't worth the money paid, even with its pedigree. I don't get it, but then again I don't have that kind of cash just laying about.

Those dangly diamond earrings, though... those are gorgeous.

QEII is wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, isn't she? There's no clear head shot of her, and she has so many.
ETA: I looked at those prices and wondered who bought them and where they will be seen next. I just listened to the "Crazy Rich Asians" trilogy and this auction would fit right into that story.
