Besides, I honestly don't think that she's got enough name/face recognition to pull shit like that.

I don't think she does either. I'm really curious though who it was...I hate it when anyone abuses people like that for laughs. It's a shitty way to get your kicks. Not impressed.
Another blind from CDAN:
Some of the guesses are Gwynnie and JLo. I'm going for Jenny From the Block/Lola. She reeks of desperation to hang on to her career and the need to be relevant. Gwynneth at least has the Iron Man movies.

JLo is a good guess. Agreed that it's not Crown Princess Gwynnie: she seems like she has a solid Plan B -- the whole lifestyle guru gig -- to fall back on once acting ceases to adequately nourish her inner aspect or whatever. Julia Roberts, maybe?

Jen Garner. I mean, I still like her, but when you're doing the cosmetics commercials, your popularity is fast on the way down.

If that's the case, Salma Hayek, Reese Witherspoon, Halle Berry, Julianne Moore, Sarah Jessica Parker, Catherine Zeta Jones, Scarlett Johannson, Beyonce, and many other women are all on their way down. Lots of celebs endorse/shoot ads and commercials for cosmetic products.

If it's a Jen I don't think it's Garner. That just doesn't sound like something she would say and she certainly does not seem to be that arrogant. Now Lopez on the other hand.....

I can just see Stephenie Meyer writing JLo into the next Twilight script as a human chupacabra...

Actually, I think those are all great examples of female actors with falling rather than rising levels of fame. I tend to see the cosmetics commercial gig as the thing to do if you need to keep your face in the media and the top film projects are no longer really available to you.
Topic: It couldn't be Sarah Michelle Gellar, could it? I mean, I know the blind specifies A list and I don't think SMG can claim that anymore, but the next Twilight is at least in her genre (plus she fits the "married" and kinda arrogant part of it.)

I disagree; that's a pretty heavy A list. Except for CZJ and Halle, who haven't made many mainstream movies recently, and Salma, who never did, these women are still pretty busy and recognizable. I don't think they need to do makeup ads to feel relevant.
Why did that blind about TomKat refer to Brangelina as Goat and Pillow? I get the goat reference, but pillow? That screams Katie to me, not Angie.
