I thought there was an article from a few years ago where Enty was semi-busted for making blind items up and not being an entertainment lawyer, although it didn't fully identify him like the Daily Beast article did. IIRC the other article said he was an estate planning attorney. His credibility (such as it was) dipped after the article, but weirdly CDAN has started to be taken as gospel again in recent years.

I always felt it was someone who has worked for someone (or many) who deals with a lot of famous people. A real lawyer would never leave himself open to that kind of liability. They all know each other in that rarified stratosphere where the air is very thin and oxygen deprivation runs rampant.

He's always had an extensive disclaimer on his website basically saying "I make up a lot of stuff for entertainment purposes, not all of it, but most of it."
