I loved the interview and also read it in KT's voice. I was thinking Julia Roberts for the actress that plays the same role again and again.

Me too, seat 6.
Second choice was Sandra Bullock.

Kathleen Turner lets it ALL out in this interview with Vulture, but who is she talking about here? There are some guesses in the comments there. The interview is a MUST read. Loved the interview - and I heard her voice as I read it. I read the comments and I'm going with Jennifer Aniston as the actress she's talking about. My first and only guess was Julia Roberts. Jennifer Aniston is a good guess. So is Sandra Bullock.

As a grumpy hater, I'd put out Meryl Streep.

I think it's Jennifer Aniston.
I never thought Kathleen Turner was all that, but I'm glad she's going well and continuing to act after such a devastating diagnosis. She seems the embodiment of a "tough old bird."

I am going for Julia mostly because at the height of her career, she was getting $20 million a movie, and Turner described the actress as being probably the wealthiest woman in Hollywood.
While Jennifer made pretty good money on Friends, I don’t think she got the big movie bucks. And I get the feeling from that article that Turner was talking more about the movie business.

"Listen, I made it work, honey" is my new six-word memoir. She's fabulous.

I think they're all good guesses except for Aniston.
Although I wonder if when she says "20 years" she means "40". I only say that because mentally, when I refer to 20 years ago, I'm thinking of twenty years beyond my teenage years in the '80s and 20 years before that was the '60s. I wonder if she could be referring to somebody like Jessica Lange or Goldie Hawn or Demi Moore - somebody slightly more contemporary to her.
I know KT is not referring to more character-y actresses but God knows I love Maggie Smith but she does play the same fusspot old lady and has for at least the last 50 years. But I don't think she's super wealthy.
