I get the impression from her last interview, she views her new movie & man as a life-changing experience. Since I believe Liam is also her first lover, then I can understand the sentiment.

I think Stevie-boy cranks them out a little too frequently to be called "slow-writing." His bibliography seems to show at least a book a year, even after his accident. He's also openly collaborated with others (most notably Peter Straub), so I would think he'd be able to hide it better. Dan Brown strikes me as a better fit.
