Yeah there was a "reading" challenge last season and it was my FAVE challenge. Jujubee killed it (to Tyra: "Was your barbeque canceled? Because your grill is FUCKED!"). I hope they do another reading challenge this year.

Unless they truly save the good ones for the show, none of them do as well as JuJu did last season, though Raja does all right.

It appears that Shangela still has a bug up her ass about the "Heathers" and half the time is standing there all grumpy while everyone else is laughing and having a good time. Get over it, darlin' (and if you go through the next couple sneak peeks on that link, you'll see that they are right about how she doesn't know jack shit about the basics, like applying makeup). Though it looks like the main challenge next week is a stand-up routine, and I think Shangela will actually do pretty well in that.

Raja is gorgeous, but... not very pleasant. Juju and Raven were way more entertaining in their bitchery. I can't say I'm a huge fan of Shangela either, but she at least seems to have more of a personality.

Tbh, Alexis Mateo as Alicia Keys is still cracking me up all these episodes later.

I want to root for Raja, I really do... but it's just not working. She just seems joyless. And her comedy skits make me wince. Also, I had to pause for a moment to change some of the gender terms of what I typed. Because Raja to me often looks like a skinny dude with makeup on. I don't really have that problem with the others in the competition right now.

Dang. I think I am still going for Alexis Mateo. I know she probably won't win, but I think she's pretty good at performance, though her runway can be a little boring sometimes.

I can't co-sign on that at all. Now I loved Juju, but Raven was just rotten and nasty to the core. She had an irrational hatred and jealousy of Tatiana, going so far as to call her "a piece of shit". I don't see how Raja-or anyone else this season-compares to her. There was nothing fun or entertaining about Raven. Her nastiness, bitterness, and obsession with Tatianna was so off-putting, I couldn't even appreciate her drag skills.

Yeah, Raven was pretty bitter. Raja may be sold as the mean girl, but I don't get any bitterness from her, and she doesn't have the big, insecure chip on her shoulder like Shannel from season one.

While it is nice that we don't have any bitter, nasty people around, we also don't have fun people like Juju, Pandora, and Ongina. And still no one has come close to my personal favorite, Nina Flowers.
