I thought that Phi Phi and Sharon did a great job with that LSFYL -- I would have been hard-pressed to pick which one to send home.


*Edited to add: If you watch Untucked, the queens (and Phi Phi in particular) make a lot of references to Willam doing stuff she shouldn't have been doing that would make them look bad, which doesn't negate the drugs hypothesis. I am officially spending waaaaayy too much time thinking about this.

I haven't seen the episode yet, but I'm pissed that we were so close to getting rid of Phi Phi.

Reasons for disqualification I've seen range from using a cell phone or computer to leaving the hotel to hang out in bars when they are supposed to be kinda sequestered. I've heard the drugs theory thrown out there, but apparently Sharon had mentioned smoking pot with Latrice and one or two other queens while they hung out in the hotel and talked strategy, do if that's true, I can't imagine they'd give Willam the boot and not anyone else for drug use.

I started off really liking Dida, but I've gone way off her. And she, not Milan, usually looks like a man in a dress to me. And I adore Latrice (“Jesus is a biscuit, let him sop you up!”), and she's my current fave, but to quote Milan... "Colored girl, why your base look like chalk?" Blend, Latrice! BLEND!

The show's FB page posted a poll asking 'Why do you think Willam was kicked off?' and the answers are all jokey like 'he ate Jiggly' or 'he's actually Olivia Newton John' but then there's also 'he snuck out of the show for a laser hair removal appointment.' Did they tip their hand?

Because I actually considered that he did something drastic and rule-breaking to deal with the beard. My thought was maybe shady hormones or something - hence the sickness - but it *really* bothered him on 'Untucked' last week how much he was being read on it. He also had the attitude of 'fuck it, I can't believe I may be kicked off for *this*' and was kinda defeatist about it. I can see him having his victory over Jiggly and then being like 'I shall do whatever it takes to get rid of this beard.'

Okay, that was complete BULLSHIT. Not that Willam was kicked off, but that the show didn't tell us WHY he was kicked off. I was all waiting to hear the juiciness in Untucked, but it never came. I thought the "broke the rules" was just a big tease and they would finally reveal the rules he broke.

As a viewer, it's just so frustrating. Bull. Shit.

I heard them complain that Willem got to spend "other people's credit cards." I wondered if there was a rule about being able to spend only your own money or not accepting sponsorships to go on Drag Race. But I have no idea because the show strung the audience along and never gave us a payoff.

Now that I've seen the episode, I don't think Willam was on drugs. She seemed to me like she just knew that she was boned and was bummed about it. She didn't want to get kicked off, and she didn't know what getting kicked off would do to Latrice since she was her partner. I think the barfing was about that too - she was totally stressed waiting for the ax to swing. The corset probably didn't help.

Someone on TWoP said that they actually read a rumor a couple months ago that Willam snuck in a laptop and that's why she got booted.


God, Phi Phi sucks. When she was bitching about Sharon being off, it sounded like she was off. But nothing is ever her fault. I wish she had gone instead of Willam.

I know it is totally out of context, but I wish this was about how much Ru hates Phi Phi.

I am just getting caught up on this season, and Phi Phi is a nasty piece of work. So nasty that my first thought about her reading the Letter From a Departed Queen was that she was making it up to stir up shit. Then I remembered her reading abilities were so lousy and decided she just wasn't clever enough to make that stuff up so quickly.

Ug. I was not wanting to watch this episode because vomit upsets me. So I was a nervous wreck the whole time knowing that it was coming up. Um, literally.

Some people seem really stuck on theories that Willem was thrown off for drugs or hormone abuse. That seems unlikely (to me, at least). I am guessing he either left the hotel or smuggled in information. On Untucked, some contestants were complaining that whatever he was doing could get them all in trouble. I wonder if he had a phone or a laptop, and was sharing info with them from it. Anyway, to me it seemed like he knew he was going home, and that played a part in him throwing up.

Oh, and Phi Phi sucks. Girl has narcissist personality disorder or something.
