I can't stand Phi Phi either. I know there has to be a "villain" in every season, but last year, Raja actually seemed to be such a positive person, and her bitchiness was brought out with the editing to play up the whole Shangela rivalry. But I noticed that Raja was often complimenting people (even Shangela) in a very genuine way, and that she was just as critical of herself as others. With Phi Phi, she just seems like an insecure and immature twat... and it's not like her runway drag or talent makes up for it.
That brings me to my biggest complaint about this season: the runways have been so lackluster compared to last season! There was some crazy awesome creativity on a regular basis last year, but this time, it just seems like "Okay, give us your best glam look!" over and over. If it wasn't for Sharon Needles, I'd probably ffwd over it.

I think either Raja or Shangela could have been considered the villain last season, but neither were as vile as Phi Phi because they actually had a sense of humor and (as pointed out above) Raja was pretty self-aware and could compliment even people she didn't like.
Phi Phi is just so damn humorless, which seems an odd quality in a drag queen. She was no sense of humorous about herself. I'm not surprised that she and Sharon came in last, not because of their rivalry, but because Phi Phi is so wrapped up in taking herself seriously that she can't connect with someone else while performing.
Just look at the difference in the LSFYL - Sharon was playing to the audience and making a connection. Phi Phi was just concentrating on her performance.

Has anyone seen Sharon live? I could see her this weekend at my local club and I'm debating on going. I like her on the show, but I have a feeling her live act is more of her type of "scary" drag and that's not really my thing. I know everyone oohed and ahhed when she walked down the runway with blood coming out of her mouth, but I hate that type of stuff. Plus she's calling her tour the "Every Night Is Halloween" tour.
Manilla is coming next month, and I will definitely go to her show.

Phi Phi's her own worst enemy - she's almost as bad as Jiggly in that department. I also completely believe her story that she came out of an abusive home, because I've seen that "search and destroy" anger from a couple of people I know with similar backgrounds. And she has a COMPLETE lack of self-awareness, which I think is why I can't even work up a lot of anger with her... I almost pity (not sympathize, just pity) her just because she seems to be so severely deluded about herself.
Personally, I would've been fine with a double elimination. Phi Phi's nasty but I have no use for Willam either. I'd love more focus on Chad, who I think might give Latrice a run for her money in the "people I want as a life coach" category. Somewhere along the line, I realized that I really adore Chad.

Latrice and Chad are grown ups stuck dealing with a bunch of stupid little kids, it seems like sometimes. My love for Latrice was sealed with the Snatch Game reaction, and Chad just seems like he'd be someone you'd go to and get good advice.

I use to like Latrice, but I can't stand when she does that hideous, hollering laugh of hers. Her mouth is wide open and it reminds me of a man turning into a werewolf when she (laughs) yelps like that. For that reason alone I can't stand her, and hope she gets eliminated soon. JMO.

Hah. I can see where you're coming from there. Her laugh reminds me a little of RuPaul's, which also walks a line between affected and genuine.
I like Latrice a lot. In fact, I am rooting for her. But I would like to see her makeup blended a little better. I would also like to see her step outside of prom drag. I feel like last season's drag runway was so amazing, and for many of the queens this year it's the same thing over and over again.
I am also totally not into Latrice's take on gay marriage. But whatever. Overall, I like her. Chad and Sharon Needles are also cool. Dida is really pretty, but not top three (to me). Phi Phi needs years of therapy... possibly a life do over.

I like Latrice so much as a personality but I'm not really sure she's as strong a drag queen as she is a life coach/whatever.

I want to see Latrice in a LSFYL only because everyone on the show has talked about how awesome she is at that stuff. It would probably showcase her talent better than what we've seen so far.
She's kind of an old-school queen, and she's not as diverse or as polished as Sharon or Chad. But she's still fun and pretty awesome. While I don't think she's the strongest, if she won I wouldn't be upset. The only possible win at this point that would piss me off is Phi Phi.

Now that I got to see the UnTucked episode, I'm really interested in what the contract says and how Willem could have possibly cheated in some way that would have affected the other contestants.
I know people are speculating drugs, but why would the other girls be worried that his drug use might impact them? It has to be something else than that.
