He's hotter than hot. I've never even seen an episode of Alias, but I'd be willing to brave J-Gar's jutting man jaw for one glimpse of Speedie.

Yes, ER bites nowadays and should have been axed years ago. I think Alias could be saved though and Scott could be the one to do it. He is very charasmatic as long as he does not play any moping Ben type roles again.

Somebody tell me, the camera loves him, why isn't SS a bigger star?

You know, soccer mom, I just don't get it. I mean, he has more charisma on camera, not to mention is a better actor, than 99% of bigger named celebs - Ashton Kutcher, Ben Affleck, the list goes on - and yet, he just doesn't work that much. I think part of it can be attributed to the fact that he appears to genuinely shy away from publicity for publicity's sake...the same can't be said for at least 75% of Hollywood. But it's also true that if you're not in the public eye (or if you don't put yourself there), folks (namely casting directors), might forget about you.
I've also read (here, I think) that he wasn't so gung-ho to take on another TV project. Which I think is a real detriment to his career. There are so many well-written roles where he could really shine, and instead, he seems to get offered shit movie parts that don't propel his career forward.
And rumor has it that Balthazar Getty landed the part on Alias. Though the same rumor also says that Scott might never have read for it to begin with. Who knows?

From stuff I read I think Scott wants a career in film, not TV so I doubt it we will see him on another TV series. One of the reasons I like and admire Scott is that he does not pimp himself to the press - he does what he has to do and does not want to be a famewhore like all the others. Good on him!

I like him and wish he could work in more frequently. He just seems so sweet and cute. I think it comes through in the characters he plays too. He sort of reminds me of Christian Bale, looks-wise as well.

I don't usually have crushes on celebrities....but he is sooo my actor boyfriend. Love him. And yet, I'd share him with Keri Russell because they are adorable together.

I've met him a few times (we have friends in common), and he's always been a gentleman and a pleasure to be around.

I just found out that I might be meeting him via work. Gah, I only hope that unlike some others I've met in the past, he doesn't shatter my image of him.
From what LittleWeasel reports though, it sounds like he won't! Yahoo!
