I think the article I read said it ran over him. Awful.

The photos I saw of him showed him in a variety of vehicles--from a smaller snow plow about the size of a riding lawn mover to a ginormous one that is bigger than anything my city owns. The little ones can do a lot of damage to a person, but usually because they fall off and hit their head. I'm speculating, given how much snow they had, that he was probably in a larger one.

Someone posted a pic of it on Reddit- if they’re right, it was an industrial monster with blades. He’s lucky to have survived any part of him going under that thing.

On one of the emergency nursing forums I belong to, someone noted his bilateral black eyes and discussed the possibility of basilar skull fracture, which might well have been possible if the plow knocked him backward. Treatment, unless the fracture is really awful, generally consists of supportive care.

Treatment, unless the fracture is really awful, generally consists of supportive care. Critical care nurse here, and my team thought as well that the eyes were giving BSF. We were also very curious about the initial reports of "traumatic orthopedic injuries." While trauma of the long bones (particularly the femur) and their tissues is no joke, traumatic ortho injuries can also be a term to describe amputations. I notice that the hospital photos of him are tight shots confined to the face, so I certainly hope that isn't the case. At any rate, he's incredibly fortunate to be alive, and I wish for him much strength on his road to recovery, both physically and psychologically. I've been an ICU nurse now for 23 years and have seen it all, but I've been amazed by the cases of Jeremy and Damar Hamlin over the past few weeks. Modern medicine can be like magic sometimes. But the big shout-out and respect goes to first responders and ER staff -- y'all are truly fantastic!

He also posted a pic of the Mayor of Kingstown poster (or whatever you call it) at the Beverly Center with the caption “Spotted while I was sleeping.” I don’t understand how Insta stories work so if it disappears I apologize. I’m the video he’s being taken in a room with big medical equipment. As a non-medical person, I have no idea what equipment I’m seeing. The little bit he says, “Once again,” he sounded good. His voice sounded strong to me.

30+ broken bones according to his latest Instagram & Twitter updates with a pic of his morning workout from bed. My mother after hearing the 911 call on the news, “I don’t know who he is since he isn’t in Hallmark movies, but it’s a miracle he’s alive. I hope he recovers and can work again. Find me something he is in that I can watch.” Me: Arctic Dogs. Possibly Hawkeye maybe you should hold off until Rennervations is on Disney+.
