He sounded nervous on the The View, but I liked the melody. He had better tone on Jimmy Kimmel I thought. I've noticed no matter what he's really engaged and lively during interviews.

Jeremy played the piano & sang for the ladies of the View. Youtube Swoon...
Video is blocked in my region. How cruel is ABC.

roisin54, didn't you have a Q&A with Renner recently? Dish, please! (But no pressure...)
Renner as Dahmer was on-the-nose casting. He was chilling in that role.

Yes! It was pretty cool. He wasn't there for the screening, he said he's seen it enough by now and is trying to put some of the more unpleasant memories of the shoot behind him. Apparently Kathryn Bigelow thought his walk was too distinctive while wearing the bomb suit to use a double, so he never got a break from it. Also he celebrated the end of filming by going to Lebanon where he consequently got really bad diarrhea and lost a bunch of weight before flying home.
There's a bar in the same building as the theater (I think that's where he was hanging out during the screening) and he brought his glass of scotch with him on stage. His cousin lives in the area and she was sitting in the row behind me, she's really pretty and is just more proof that he has a ridiculously gorgeous gene pool. He's much better looking in person, he was wearing jeans and a black shirt, suit jacket, and tie. He explained that his hair looked funny because he's growing it out from a bad haircut he had to get for the Ben Affleck movie he filmed here last fall.
I got the sense that he really did appreciate getting an award even if it was just from a lowly critics society, he said he was amazed at the momentum the movie had and gave a lot of the credit for it to film critics. He was very funny and seemed to be enjoying himself and he stayed after the Q&A to sign autographs and chat with people who came up to him. I, sadly, did not do that. I'm incredibly shy and neurotic and I'm convinced that if I ever approach someone famous I will make a complete ass of myself.
And on a different note, they gave Meryl Streep best actress and she sent Julia Child's niece Phila to accept it for her. I picked her out right away in the audience beforehand because she's really tall and has the same big curly hair as Julia. There's obviously some very strong genes there.

Further proof that we belong together? That is exactly what I did and what happened to me after month in Jordan, only I celebrated in Damascus. Still, great times, they were.
roisin54, your avatar made me jump in my seat.

I just made a mental note to not party in Lebanon or Damascus if I ever spend a significant amount of time in Jordan.

A lovely little article from USA Today about Jeremy. With loads of gushing from various people . It's a nice read that basically says "He's a crazy talented and really cool man" .

Aw, he sounds so sweet and grounded there. Let's hope the coke and hookers don't come spilling out of his closet anytime soon (I kid, I kid).

Oh my god he can fix houses? My judgment might be a bit clouded as I've spent all day struggling with drywall but I think I have a crush on this man.
