Oh, then we gotta talk about ALL of the Soap Opera/Rock Star crossovers, because most of 'em really stank up the joint. Except for Rick Springfield, although he was actually a Rock Star/Soap Opera crossover, having had a hit in the early '70s called "Speak to the Sky" (which was pretty awful compared to his later '80s hits). Rock Star/Soap Opera crossover with a stop in between as a cartoon character! I vaguely remember him having a raven called Ptolemy.

Heidi Montag. I would have been okay if she could at least do Hilary Duff-style pop songs but the big-boobed wonder's songs are so Autotuned that you don't even recognize her voice.

Zooey Deschanel Her voice in the cotton commercial makes me cringe. She sounds like she has a potato stuck in her throat.

I hate Scarlett Johanssen's singing voice, she needs to stop.

Zooey Deschanel Her voice in the cotton commercial makes me cringe. Uhhhh, that faux, baby-talk singing! And what's the point of the commercial - to show us the life of a so-called "edgy" woman (with infantile singing) who spends her entire day shopping? That's soooo rad, Zooey. Wow, you're a consumer with lots of money to blow. Ughhhhh. "Baby-talk, baby-talk, it's a wonder you can walk!" She irritates like Kimya Dawson.

Zooey Deschanel sounded fine in "Elf", though her character wasn't a singer so it was played more as a nice surprise. I saw her later on Elvis Costello's show and, hmm, not so good. I mean, her voice grated after a couple of songs. She had this really laid-back, too cool for school delivery that made me want to slap someone, too.
Has anyone actually ever heard Billy Bob Thornton sing? I imagine it's horrific.

I still cringe when I think about "Party All the Time" from Eddie Murphy. And yes, mariposalabrown, Scarlett needs to realize she is not a double threat. She's not even a single threat.

I heard the Bacon Brothers on the Tonight Show and on Letterman. They're not bad, actually. Pleasant, unchallenging, utterly unnecessary folk rock. Kevin Bacon has a decent voice but his brother does the heavy vocal work.
I didn't think Keanu sang in his band, that he just plays bass.
