Keanu doesn't sing, he just plays bass.
Is Heidi Montag the patron saint of the thread, or a lesser demon?

Keanu doesn't sing, he just plays bass. A friend of mine went to one of Dogstar's show in Vegas, and apparently he sang lead on one song and backup on others. She said it was almost as good as his acting...in Dracula

In his autobiography, John McEnroe has a great story about playing a gig with his wife, Patti Smithe's band. After a few songs, the crowd was really into it, the band was rocking, people cheered for him, so he broke into a wild solo, ran into the crowed, really hammed it up (think the opening scene of 'School of Rock'). Afterwards, Patti told him, "You know, people can really only be truly great at one thing." He didn't play with her again and gave up his dreams of being a rock star. From someone with such a huge ego, that's really saying something! Everyone else mentioned in this thread could learn something from him.

aw, that's kind of sad. Poor John McEnroe and his broken dreams.

aw, that's kind of sad. Poor John McEnroe and his broken dreams. Patti did us all a favor. Would you want to see "John McEnroe & The Mac Attack! Live at Budokan: The You Can't Be Serious Tour 1991!" in the remainders bin at Big Lots?

When you put it like that? Um, yes!
She said her album would sell as well as Thriller. So, yes.

I think I have to defend Jack Wagner. I still love that stupid song.

Fishstick Paltrow's singing voice (at least on the songs she did for Duets) sounds exactly the way she speaks: nasal and whiney.

We've done gigs in a number of venues the Bacon Brothers have also played. To a one, the local guys all say they are not a bad band, and that they are very down to earth, nice guys. Dogstar reviews have been less kind.
I don't feel TOO bad for McEnroe, his guitar collection was featured in Guitar Afficianado magazine a while back. Think Cigar Afficianado, but for one of a kind, utterly unobtainable guitars. Seeing that on the rack made me think, "This must be how Gloria Steinem must have felt the first time she saw Hustler on the news stand..."

It sounds like the Bacon Brothers is pretty much a hobby band. At least they didn't act like dicks the way Billy Bob Thornton did.
