That's the scariest fucking thing that I've read in this thread. I would have had words with her after the movie was over. What the hell was she thinking?

Not in a movie theater, but I walked up on a car idling with the keys in the ignition in front of a convenience store, the windows rolled down...with a three month old infant in a car seat in the front seat. I walked in the store and yelled, "Who left the baby in the car with the motor running? I called the police!!!" Some dude just bolted out the door, leaving his cigs and lottery tickets on the counter. The counter guy said the cigs guy did that all the time, but counter guy didn't know there was a baby in the car.

Yet AGAIN, I encountered a woman (this time a senior citizen) who left her BARE FEET up on the chair in front of her. For the love of God and anyone with a functioning olfactory nerve. This is not your damn living room. Put your shoes back on, Raised In A Barn!

People do that all the time at the theatres by me in the summer. It is disgusting. I once had someone put their bare foot on my ponytail. I just about died as I have serious foot phobia.
Another time someone put their feet with stinky running shoes on my arm rest and refused to move them when I asked repeatedly. I had to get up and move.
This last weekend I saw the Avengers in 3D. Some jackasses came in and talked at a regular volume for the first 20 minutes ignoring our glares and "shhs". So, we finally got up and moved to other seats. 10 minutes later they got up and left the movie and never came back. I hate people.

So this moron paid the exorbitant price that theaters charge today to have a half-hour conversation? Unbelievable.
When I saw The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel I was amazed at the number of people who came in late.

Of course some people trucked in to Prometheus with a baby and two kids under five, who squealed and cried the entire time. I just wanted to be like, "You know what this movie's about, right?" Also, the baby's obviously too little to care, but the two other kids were old enough to be scared when blood went everywhere.

People need to stop treating movie theaters like their own personal living rooms. Stay the fuck home! I mean everybody and his brother has a big screen HDTV these days and the movies come out on DVD like three months later. So if you've got small children, either get a baby sitter or wait until the DVD comes out.
When I went to see the South Park movie in 1999, there was some douche who came in with his two sons, who looked to be under the age of 10. After that first musical number, they hightailed it out of there. What an ass, I mean the movie was rated R and they were checking everybody's ID. What the fuck did he think?
When I saw Aliens in 1986 a couple brought an INFANT to see this movie. The baby started crying and they had to leave and everybody applauded. Hey you selfish fuckers; you CHOSE to have a baby, either get a sitter or STAY YOUR ASS HOME. It's real simple.

When I went to see Miami Vice, one woman brought a baby in with her. Of course the poor thing started crying, and I heard one audience member asking her to please take the baby and go. The Idiot talked some smack to them, and a different audience member yelled so everyone could hear, "You are a horrible mother!" Upon which everyone else in the theater applauded and she was finally shamed into leaving with the baby. Sadly that little scene was far more entertaining than the actual movie.

That's the whole reason why I love going to matinees, especially during the week when I can. Honestly, I went to see The Avengers and there was, including me and a friend, 4 people in the entire theatre. It was heaven.
The best experience was when a friend had gotten free tickets to Up in the Air. The audience was 7 people in total, and this particular cinema still has intermissions, so one lady went out and bought us all some ice cream.
