I specifically waited to see THG during a late afternoon weekday matinee...just adults, no kids. About half way through the movie, two guys got into a yelling match, not sure what about, but one must've asked the other to move and the other started yelling back about not wanting to move and that the first guy should "sit the f--- down and watch the f---ing movie!"--talk about spoiling the mood of the movie. I think I almost would have preferred the squealing teenage girls.

Now tomorrow morning, I'll breakfast in bed, and then get straight up into the tweeds.

Hey, young guy who was sitting in the row behind me to the right when I saw Titanic 3D last Friday,
First off, dear, I know slight sensory deprivation is weird and awkward, but 3D glasses do not mean that you compensate by whispering more loudly.
Second, now I got a kick out of this honey, but I very much doubt everyone else around you appreciated hearing that the last 3D movie you saw was SpongeBob Squarepants in Las Vegas.
Personally, I got a huge kick out of hearing "Oooooh, who lives in a pineapple under the sea?" in my head as the ROVs descended to the wreck of the grand old lady. Beats all heck out of Celine Dion. But try no to let it happen again.

When did it become socially acceptable to loudly munch nachos throughout the movie?

What I find particularly galling about cases like that is that the kid had a parent there with him. My parents would never have allowed me to get away with that kind of behavior. WTF was this kid's mom doing while he was being so disruptive?

He was ten, though. And he must have slapped the boy awful hard to break his tooth. All that guy had to do was tell an usher and those kids would have been booted. I think he deserves to be arrested. Obnoxious kids bother me too, but that was a situation easily fixed.

Obnoxious kids bother me too, but that was a situation easily fixed. Which is why I prefaced my remarks with not advocating violence and not wanting to harm children. I'm not saying I condone what the guy did, just that I understand the feelings that led to his act.

OK, I went to my first movie in theaters in two years on Saturday to see THG- and nothing went wrong. No cell phones rang, nobody was texting, there wasn't a peep except for some sniffling during THAT scene. I was pleasantly surprised.

Saw the Snow White movie. Some lady brought her three kids with her. The boy and girl looked no older than five, and the youngest was an infant. I would say six months. At one point, the mom got up, and took the boy and girl (most likely) to the bathroom. Leaving the infant in the stroller in the theater. She was gone for about two minutes. I couldn't believe it. At first I thought she had the infant with her, but when she was gone it started fussing a bit.
I was about six rows up from her. I seriously thought about telling the theater management. I definitely would have if I was sitting next to her.

I can't fucking imagine leaving an infant alone like that!
