Candy Crush Saga is NOT a necessary part of the movie-going experience. Please do not even attempt to reproduce.

You mean - someone was playing Candy Crush while the movie was on? That's not cool. I'm addicted to the game myself, but I shut my electronic devices off when the lights go down.

As in, someone decided that Sandra's Big Emotional Moment was boring and pulled out their phone to play Candy Crush Saga, in the 3rd row of a 2/3 full Monday afternoon matinee. I'm still annoyed 24 hours later!

Someone in front of me was texting about a year ago, (I related the story here). I pinched her shoulder (they are always girls, huh?) and whispered in her ear...low, breathy..."you are bothering me. Turn. the. phone. off....." I think I scared the crap out of her.

Just got this from a college friend of mine, who heard the story from a film reviewer friend of his.

Madonna is a movie texter! For shame Madonna, for shame! What's with the enslaver nonsense? I wonder how impressed she'd be if someone texted throughout one of her shitty movies.

My movie buddy and I actually had to switch rows at the movies because the only other people there (an elderly couple) STANK. Like...body odor flowing around the theater. They also chit chatted through the entirety of the tense, excellent Prisoners.

Texting is the only way a person could get through one of Madonna's movies. In fact she should be glad anyone is actually paying to see one of her movies. Though "Desperately Seeking Susan" was good.

It wasn't actually a movie, but I have to say that many of the people at the free concert I attended yesterday need a refresher course on behavior. 1) Yes, it was a concert given by several area children's choirs, but even though they were not professional singers you should still have taken your crying baby out to the lobby and not just stood in the back rocking it and hoping no one would notice. That goes for all three of you that did that. 2) Yes, there were many popular songs sung, but it was not a sing-a-long lady sitting behind us. 3) While we're on the subject of you, could you have done more to keep your kid from kicking the back of my daughter's seat constantly? And finally, 4) To the kid in front of us, I know the chairs were not the most comfortable, but did you really need to kneel on the floor and lean over the back of the chair in front of you? I'm pretty sure that kid in the seat could have lived without you breathing all over him. Maybe I should address this more to whoever was in charge of you. They did not seem like a parent since only a half-hearted effort went into making you sit back down. On the plus side, the music was good. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.
