I don't know if you guys know about this website. You can watch movie trailers until your eyes fall out of your head. I waste lots of time there.

Jodie Foster looks stunning in her new movie, The Brave One, directed by Neil Jordan and co-starring Terrence Howard (who, as I noted in "The Feminism Thread", looks utterly lost beside JF's towering talent).

I'm really happy that Balls of Furry is finally coming out over Labor Day weekend because I can stop seeing the trailer before every freaking movie I watch. I swear they've been running it for a year.

Jodie Foster is like a female Johnny Depp - she just doesn't seem to age. She looks amazing, I still can't get over how great she looked in that movie with Clive Owen (God, what was that one called again?). And she doesn't look all plastic either.

Is it Inside Man? She looked stunning in that, especially in those sleek power suits.
I'm a big fan of both Jodie Foster & Neil Jordan, but the trailer isn't making me too enthused for the movie. It kinda seems like a modern Death Wish.

You know, I thought that, too, but the anguish Jodie's character seems to feel while simultaneously assuming the vigilante mantle is what makes it must-see for me. Also, I just get shivers whenever she's on-screen, in anything. I will admit that this role seems kind of Oscarbation, though, too.

Also, I just get shivers whenever she's on-screen, in anything. So true. I'm probably end up seeing it, since seeing her in a Neil Jordan film is pretty tempting. OT: MWG's typo of "Balls of Furry" is making me giggle like a 12-year-old every time I see it. That phrase alone is already, like, 10x funnier than the trailer.

How did "From the Director of Saw" become a selling feature?

That reminds me of the Desmond Harrington movie Love Object.
