Just caught it on YouTube. Will Ferrell looks kinda typical but Jon Heder looks ridiculous, in a good way.

I saw that trailer in a full house. I didn't know it was a book and neither did most of the audience, because after all that violent, tense, wolfy horror stuff showed, the title "Blood and Chocolate" came up with the big serious announcer voice and the audience DIED LAUGHING. You wouldn't have gotten a bigger reaction if the title was "Kibbles and Bits".

Do they think the movie viewing audience is blind to bad hair and even worse acting? Why the sweet frick does the Ghost Rider talk like Elvis Presley with a stroke-induced speech impairment? So, sooooo bad.

Now I have no idea what a Ghost Rider is, and I thought that trailer was freakin' hilarious. But then once I got over my giggle fit I started feeling really sorry for comic book fans. I imagine they must feel the way I do about the travesty that is the movie of The Bridge to Terabithia. I just love it when cherished childhood memories are violated and turned into trash.

Yeah, that's true! I guess going from this to this would be considered an improvement.

The guy just gives me the creeps. I find him completely unwatchable on a movie screen.

I just saw a commercial for Bridge to Terabithia and couldn't believe it, so I went to the site and still couldn't choke it down. Normally, I don't care if books and movies are faithful adaptations of each other if they can sort of stand on their own, but in this case I'm starting to get upset. And you know why? You know what happens in the book, but if you don't, and you go expecting a fantasy movie? Ow. And I always thought the fantasy aspect was the least important part of that story. AND! The monsters didn't even really belong there. It was starting to look like Heavenly Creatures for the younger set. I also read that there's a strong anti-bullying message, which seems kind of like overkill. Grr.

Totally agree on Bridge to Terabithia. There are going to be a lot of kids needing therapy at the end of that one when the credits are rolling.
