Normally I'm not that upset by changes from book to movie either but what they're doing is just so radically different as to have little to no resemblance to the book I grew up loving. They completely destroyed the whole point of the book, which was that Terabithia was just a fantasy and an escape from their dreary lives. It wasn't really even a huge part of the book. I thought it mainly focused on Jesse and Leslie's friendship. It's a freaking travesty what they're doing.

This looks hilarious. I heart Paul Rudd, and it features half the cast of The 40 Year Old Virgin."I'm pregnant." "Fuck off." "What?" "What? With a baby?"

That does look hysterical. Another funny scene:
"What do you think? He's funny, right?" "He's playing fetch. With my kids. He's treating my kids like dogs."
And when did Harold Ramis start looking so old!?!? I almost didn't recognize him.

"Do you want to do it doggie style?"
"No, I don't want you to fuck me like a dog!" LOL.
I hate the character of Izzie that she plays but I really like Katherine Heigl.

Trailer for Across The Universe. A musical set to the songs of The Beatles? Ooo. My butt is in the theater opening day. I think it looks like it has the potential to be really good or just awful and I'm hoping for the first. Plus, I am endlessly amused by the split-second flash of Bono with a pornstache in the trailer.

The Nanny Diaries. I'm sure to those who haven't read the book it looks like The Devil Wears Prada with a kid. Especially since Laura Linney seems to channel Meryl here. They also changed quite a lot from the book (in the movie she seems to live with the family), I was looking forward to seeing Scarlett in a Teletubby costume but they changed that too. Anyway, I'll def. be seeing this one.

I like Shit Blowing Up as much as the next person -- well, maybe a bit more -- but fercryinoutloud, it'll take a lot to get me past Nic Cage's presence in Next. On the other hand, I will need no prompting to rent Mr. Woodcock the day it's released on DVD.

Wow. That looks really pointless and meandering. Nicolas Cage sounds like his teeth are too big for his mouth, he is a very cheesy actor, and his hair needs new people representing it.
