Not only does Nicolas Cages hair look unbelievable, but him and Jessica Biel as a couple is also unbelievable.

Here's the trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Here's Johnny! That 360 shot of Jack and Davy Jones sword-fighting atop the ship was jaw-dropping. Is it May 25th anytime soon?

I'm completely disturbed by the new Adam Brody movie where it looks like his twenty-something character hooks up with a teenage girl- and we're supposed to cheer.

"My name is Jim Carrey and I'd like to invite you all to come and see me in my latest bid for actorly cred through a deeply-troubled character in Reign Over Me. No, wait! My name is Adam Sandler and I'd like to invite you all to come and..."

To be fair to Adam, didn't he get really good reviews in his earlier dramatic attempt in Punch Drunk Love? I never saw it though.

To be fair to Adam, he was very (very) good in Punch-Drunk Love, but his work in (and the promotion of) that film didn't have that Carreyesque air of "look at this guy's dramatic range!" Whether intended or not, slotting a primarily-comedic performer in the Reign Over Me role is gonna draw comparisons to other primarily-comedic performers who choose roles not in terms of proper fit but in terms of career planning. Carrey being the prime offender.
Also? Please tell me that The Who's "Love Reign O'er Me" isn't going to appear in any way in that film, especially at the dramatic peak. That's a tear-duct release song at the best of times, and to be used so blatantly would be... typical.

Bstewart the radio this morning had the ad, and says that Pearl Jam sings a song called "Love Riegn O'er Me". Don't know the song, so don't know if it's the same. My future celebrity husband, Kevin Costner, has a new thriller this May called Mr. Brooks. I co-stars William Hurt, Dane Cook, and another comeback for Demi Moore. I'm absolutely positive it will be the greatest thriller eva!!!!111!!!!!11!

Yup, that's the one, forever1267.
I'm torn about that Mr. Brooks trailer, though. I mean, I'll admit to a similar, frighteningly unjustifiable crush on your future celebrity husband, and the trailer is certainly effective... but director Bruce Evans -- who shares the name of my very first for-real boyfriend! -- well, his pedigree is a bit iffy (Jungle 2 Jungle and Kuffs?). On the other hand, Dane Cook being tortured? Dude!

My inner 15 year old boy is VERY eager to see Redline as we love the car porn (i.e. Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift of which I'm still too embarrassed to actually buy the DVD).
From IMDB:
Mmmmmm...
I couldn't place the face of the Carmen Electra-ish girl in the TV trailer, but I see that it's Nadia Bjorlin- formerly Chloe on "Days of Our Lives".
