Just saw the trailer to Nanny Diaries. Maybe I haven't read the book in a while but it still seems like they changed it up a lot. Nanny didn't live with the richie rich family, did she? Well, the book was crap so I guess they had to make some changes.

It looks a little too close to The Devil Wears Prada for me but I love Laura Linney and don't hate Scarlett Johansson so I'm still looking forward to it. And that Torch dude from Fantastic Four is very good-looking!

I think I actually want to see this, in spite of thinking that Ocean's 12 was a huge waste of time: Ocean's 13 trailer

I am super excited for Atonement. The trailer looks promising. I hope they don't ruin it. It's one of my favorite novels.

Oooh, thanks for posting that! I haven't read the novel yet (but def.will before the flm's release) but I'm just excited to see James McAvoy in another big movie. I did get a slight Cold Mountain vibe from the trailer though. I don't know why.

And that Torch dude from Fantastic Four is very good-looking! I was one of the few people who really liked the Nanny Diaris book and I think the movie looks good. To get nit-picky she doesn't live with them at all, but when they go on vacation she stays in the house with them & the costume party scene in the book involves Halloween and TelleyTubby outfits.

groovethang, I thought so too. We rented Ocean's 12 shortly after its DVD release and we both fell asleep after like 20 minutes. And I never fall asleep during movies.

I never read the Nancy Drew books but I think that movie looks awesome. It also already has such good messages for girls... I'd probably take my little cousin to see it.

For the sharp-eyed, check the writing credits. Alexander Payne is a credited writer. Yes, the same guy behind Election/Sideways somehow contributed to this. Payne (whom I love) supposedly does a lot of uncredited rewrites on really crappy movies. Sometimes he's credited, like on Jurassic Park 3. Bad rewrites are an awesome way for screenwriters to make bank; those quickie jobs actually pay more than whole original scripts a lot of the time.

Trailer for Evening, which stars people like Toni Collette, Meryl Streep plus daughter, Natasha Richardson, Glenn Close, Vanessa Redgrave, Patrick Wilson (woohoo!!) and Hugh Dancy. But why oh why does Claire Danes have to be in it? I can't stand her and her acting style. Plus, she has a face that makes me want to punch her. Oh, and is Hugh Dancy her new boyfriend? Anyway, I do like the trailer and maybe I'll get over myself and watch it despite Claire "shivering chin" Danes.
