The art and theater students at the university where I work have embraced the whole Oogieloves thing, and it's showing up in weird places all over campus. I don't think any of them have actually seen it, because it's not playing anywhere near here. It's all pretty hilarious.

Little Children sucked IMO. When I saw it I thought it sucked while others thought it was art. At the end I felt, "what the fuck did I just spend that time doing?"

I hated Little Children, too. I'm one of those who just doesn't think Tom Perotta can ever be effectively translated into screenplays.

Cool World owns this thread. Gabriel Byrne and Brad Pitt need to do penance for this steaming pile. Kim Basinger was par for the course, she always sucks.

Agreed. What made this stinkbomb unintentionally funny, is that the actors seemed to think that they were making high art.

It pains me to say it, but Salvation Boulevard was kind of a mess, despite the stellar cast (Greg Kinnear, Pierce Brosnan, Jennifer Connelly, Jim Gaffigan, Ciaran Hinds) -- the end was all kinds of "WTF?" Should've been absolutely amazing.
