I made a mistake and watched "The Woman in Black." Awful, awful, awful nonsense, not scary, just garbage. I wanted to like this, and it was so dull! No shit it was dull. It too my TWO days to get through it and the movie was only one hour thirty five minutes. It felt like it went on forever.

I liked it! However, I watched it while playing a video game on my computer, so that probably says something. Actually, I know I missed major plot points because of it. That said, it's good peripheral viewing. I just looked up duringthe "scary" parts, hah.

I started watching it two months ago...and I think it's still going on somewhere! So long...so dull...so pointless...

The thing is that a dull movie could work if there is a payoff at the end. "Paranormal Activity" was boring until the last five or ten minutes, but the movie was shorter. This movie NEVER got good, there was no payoff in the end, it just MADE NO SENSE. I think the only reason this movie was made was to give Daniel Radcliffe an "adult" role. Didn't work for me. At one point I thought, "gee this movie would work if Harry Potter just had his wand and said, 'Experidammos!'"

"Womb". It's on Showtime right now so it's not like I paid to go see it, thankfully, but it's just plain weird and disturbing.
I'm not going to spoiler it because it's been out for a few years, but there is a synopsis below.
It has Eva Green and Matt Smith in it and basically Matt Smith is her lover, he dies unexpectedly, then she is artificially impregnated with his clone so she gives birth to him. When he grows up he doesn't understand why he has Oedipus-type feelings for his mother/lover and becomes angry, then rapes her and she becomes pregnant with his child (her lover's clone/son's child).

I saw Wolf of Wall Street over the weekend and yikes. I'm not a Leo fan, but I've never been creeped out by him either, and the movie left me wishing for a way to pull my brain from my skull and bleach it. For good. So gross. (Prostitutes. Lots and lots of prostitutes.)

Watching it I was SMH and saying "Why, Marty, why?" Just a disappointing mess. It was trying to be Goodfellas on Wall St. No thanks.
Jonah Hill's career perplexes and annoys me.

Jonah Hill has really good connections among the powers that be that run Hollywood. If he wasn't so well-connected I seriously doubt he would have anything close to the career he does let alone two Oscar nominations.

My friends all said I was being uptight for being completely grossed out by this movie. Five minutes in, i was praying for the Feds to take Jordan et al down. By the time it got to the scene where their yacht sinks and their rescue plane goes down in flames, my head was swimmimg. I'm sure that over-stimulation was intentional, but it just made me agitated.
