I'm watching Scrooged, hee--love it! It is my favorite holiday movie and I am watching it on Amazon Prime right now. I am so happy.

Watching Christmas in Connecticut right now while wrapping. Barbara Stanwyck, Sydney Greenstreet, and the very handsome Dennis Morgan in a romantic screwball comedy from 1945. One of my favorites that's not very well known.

A bit late here but I just want to say I still love the 1979 Sesame Street Christmas special! "How does Santa Claus, who is built like a DUMP TRUCK, get down all those skinny chimneys?" Ha ha. I have "true blue miracle" on a CD and listen to it all December.
Can I add those ads for "Love the Coopers" made me think it's the worst Christmas movie of all time, though I haven't seen it? "Poor me, I'm just an upper class healthy white person who thinks she deserves to have a super-perfect family Christmas but something mildly wrong might happen!"

I advocate "Krampus" as an antidote for those sorts of movies.

I advocate "Krampus" as an antidote for those sorts of movies. Was it good? I'm interested in the Krampus mythology but from the trailers it looks like this movie is about 75% of scenes of the family fighting before Krampus finally shows up to punish them. There is nothing more annoying than a horror movie where it takes half the movie before the bad guy appears!

The first victim happened within the first half hour. Not much in the way of blood and gore, but then I'm not a fan of that anyway.
