The scene in True Romance where the Patricia Arquette character gets beaten up... It just seems to go on forever and is totally brutal. I recall clutching my boyfriend's arm and moaning out loud, "Okay! That's enough! Enough already!"

And any movie where the psycho kills a Beloved Family Pet to indicate that worse is to come gets to me bad. In fact, in thrillers, whenever it shows a person or a family with a Beloved Family Pet, I brace myself. I know what's coming, and I get a knot in my stomach.

I love Showgirls and think it's total cheesy good fun, but the gratuitous rape scene...? Really fucking disturbing. Especially when you consider that Andrew Carver looks a litte too much like Joe Eszterhas....

The part in Fire in the Sky, when he's been abducted and strapped down to the experimenting table....you see this long needle coming down, and you immediately think crotch, right? Nope-EYE SOCKET!!!!

Or how about the rape scene in the beginning of A Time To Kill? They basically have the camera angle so that you're looking through the little girl's eyes, and all you see are these filthy drunken perverts over you.

I've only seen the MST3K version, although the original IS available on DVD at Amazon: Manos: the Hands of Fate. The part at the end, where not only does the wife end up as one of the Master's wives, but so does the little girl, is incredibly sickening.

Or, let's stick with MST3K movies. The premiere episode for the final season was a crappy Joe Estevez pic called The Soultaker, and at one point, the main character is going to take a bath. She's just about to get into the tub and then she turns and looks and sees her MOM watching her get undressed through the slightly open door! Of course it's actually Estevez's character pretending to be the Mom, but it's still disgusting as hell.

But my all time pick has to be Marcelino pan y vino, or "Miracle of Marcelino", which is what I like to call a "Katholic Klassic"*. It's about this little orphaned boy who grows up in a monastery. And they tell him not to go into the attic, where they have all this junk stored, but he doesn't listen. And there's this huge crucifix up there. Well, one day, he goes up there to eat his lunch, and he's playing around, because he's five years old, and offers a piece of bread to the Jesus on the crucifix. Which TAKES it! And then he starts visiting the...Jesus up there every day, and all throughout, you see the Jesus figure moving really jerky and it's not made to scale, so you see this sort of 3/4 scale jerky Jesus moving around, but you never see His face, just the back of Him. Then it ends with Marcelino DYING in the Jesus figures arms so he can see his mother, while the monks look on in what looks like complete and utter horror.

Oh my god-our teacher showed it to us in fifth or sixth grade, and it gave me nightmares. I told my mom what we had watched when I got home, and she was like, "Oh my god, that movie scared the hell out of me!"


I've never seen Caligula, but having been informed of all the gross parts, I THINK the wedding rape scene involves some guy getting fisted, another guy gets his penis tied off so he can't pee and then is force fed vast amounts of wine until his stomach is about to explode, then they cut it open. And then someone does it with a horse.


*I'm not equating the church to the KKK, just using it in that schlocky, cutsey "Kountry Korners" type way.

Its about a bunch of young meth addicts - it has a pretty famous cast actually. Brittany Murphy, Mena Suvari, John Leguizamo, Blondie, Mickey Rourke, and a bunch of other well-knowns whose names are escaping me right now. Everyone's faces are broken out, their teeth are rotting, there are graphic, disgusting sex scenes, a scene of Mena taking a shit (and they SHOW it falling into the toilet)...its just repulsive.

Speaking of the poo, what was the purpose of showing that? I swear there was *spoiler blood in the toilet along w/ the poo, and later they show her w/ a nurse who is putting on a rubber glove. Are they implying that Meth gives you hemorrhoids? Or, even worse, was she actually pregnant and miscarrying into the toilet? I know she said she had to poop, but that's the same feeling you get when you're about to give birth.*spoiler
