I thought Emily Blunt stole all her scenes in The Devil Wears Prada.

I love Seth Green in "Can't Buy Me Love." I always forget that that's him, too. Oh, Chuckie Miller, I love you.
Alec Baldwin stole all his scenes in "The Departed." The Boy and I quote him daily. "People see the ring, they think, 'At least somebody can stand the son of a bitch.'" I love you, too, crazy-and-in-need-of-anger-management-but-hilarious Alec Baldwin.
Also: Casey Affleck as Morgan in "Good Will Hunting." "I was just using it for clean up!" Ew.

The late Denholm Elliot was a great scene stealer, as he proved in Noises Off, Trading Places and A Room With A View.

The late Denholm Elliot was a great scene stealer, as he proved in Noises Off, Trading Places and A Room With A View. Agreed. Add the Indiana Jones movie to that list....when he is wandering around the Arab market in the "Last Crusade" just cracks me up.

I thought Robert Downey Jr. stole quite a few scenes in Wonder Boys.

Jason Robards in All the President's Men. He kicked SO MUCH ASS as Ben Bradlee, winning a well-deserved Oscar for his performance. He is competing with to film icons - Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman but the movie, imo, is his. I honestly think the film would have been much worse without his performance. I wish it were remembered more fondly or often these days. Yeah, I thought Dustin Hoffman ran away with the film, for the most part, but even he takes a backseat whenever Robards struts onto the screen. I love the way he carries himself in the film, and the little touches through which he captured the part of Bradlee (like when he slams his pencil down during one of his meetings with Woodstein? Damn, I love that movie). I thought Robards also stole several scenes in The Parenthood - not an easy thing to do, but he just seems to run away with the part, taking it from gut-busting ("Yeah, she's still alive."/"It's like your Aunt Edna's ass - it goes on forever and it's just as frightening") to heart-breaking ("When you were a kid, there was a week where we thought you might have polio..." - I'm paraphrasing on that one), and sometimes within the same scene.

Steve Martin and Bill Murray were hilarious in the musical version of Little Shop of Horrors. Their scene in the dentist office is hilarious.

I gotta second that. He was wonderful but subtle in that movie. He could have just played his character as a complete bastard, but he put a lot of heart into it. There's this one tiny throw away scene. He's been riding Steve Martin's character through most of the movie, but when Steve is goofing around on the horse (at his kid's birthday party) and falls off- there's this little bit where Robards starts running towards him thinking he might be hurt. It's just a tiny little moment, but it shows how he really felt about his son in spite of all the grief he gave him.

^^^ Oh, and his scene with his son's (Larry?) son, Cool, when Larry is leaving to go chase another money-making idea? So touching and the man barely says a word. ETA: Yikes! I actually typed 'scene's' - I must have come from the Britney thread
