Because it didn't have Angelina Jolie. True, but neither did this year's "Best Kiss" winner. ;D On topic, the fight between Sing and the Axe Gang in Kung Fu Hustle was hilariously kick-ass.

Mr. Sunnyhorse, our friends, and I are huge fans of "Desperado," which has some of the best, cartooniest fight scenes ever. "The Transporter" is good, too -- that scene (used in the promo and trailer) where Jason Statham runs up to the door and kicks it down with the guy on the other side never fails to make us howl with laughter.

Since The Princess Bride, Rob Roy and Obi-Wan/Anakin have already been mentioned...
I haven't seen the movie in years, but I remember a fairly awesome swordfight near the end of Scaramouche. Stewart Granger and Mel Ferrer duke it out in a theatre, which includes dueling on the edges of the opera boxes. Fun stuff.

I really love the fencing scene between CZJ and Antonio Banderas in The Mask of Zorro. It's cute, playful, the subtext is sizzling, and I enjoy when he gets shown as a fool for underestimating her fencing skills.
As for a FIGHT fight scene, I like the end scene between Jennifer Lopez and Vincent D'Onofrio in The Cell, and everything ever choreographed in The Princess Bride.

It was heralded at 6+ minutes as the longest swordfight ever caught on film. I thought it was meh. The swordfight between Flynn and Rathbone In ROBIN HOOD or the swordfight between Power and Rathbone in MARK of ZORRO were both a lot more dynamic.

There's a really bad movie called Ring of Steel with huge amounts of great swordplay. You can skip the boring junk and just watch them fight.

I don't know if this counts, but the pie fight in The Great Race is absolutely classic.
Ditto what's been said for Kill Bill, Matrix (Matrices?), and Bourne.
Just about anything in Fight Club, too... a buff, shirtless Brad Pitt never hurt anyone.
My favorite Star Wars fight is between Qui-Gon (sp?) and Darth Maul in Phantom Menace. Darth Maul kicks ass!

Ooh! I forgot about that fight! It was really kickass. Damn shame that my beloved Liam Neeson bites it in the end though.

Put me down for the aforementioned "They Live" as best fight scene. At least for a head-on, serious fight.
But one of my favorite comedy fight scenes is the one in "Dangerous Beauty" between Oliver Platt and Catherine McCormack. A swordfight where they trade verbal barbs as well. Nicely done.

As a fan of 80s kung fu flicks... Michelle Yeoh and Hiroyuki Sanada vs. evil plane hijackers and nightclub shooters in Royal Warriors. This movie is definitely worth a rental because Michelle Yeoh kicks ass and Sanada-san is teh hottness. The finale of In the Line of Duty 4, directed by Yuen Wo-ping (who also choreographed The Matrix and Crouching Tiger -- well worth checking out!). In fact, if you like fight scenes, you will LOVE this movie because there is literally a beatdown and/or car chase happening every five minutes in this film, and sometimes simultaneously. While I'm at it, I'll add Cynthia Khan vs. a white lady from the same film (sorry, I have no idea what her name is). Cynthia Rothrock vs. a bunch of henchpeople and Melvin Wong vs. Yuen Biao at the end of Righting Wrongs. These people kick so much ass. Donnie Yen vs. Rongguang Yu in Iron Monkey. From the same movie, Donnie Yen kicks more ass with an umbrella than ought to be humanly possible. Also, add me to the list of people who love the fight at the end of Rob Roy. That final swordblow is so gory, so brutal, and so totally righteous.
