I cannot pour myself a glass of milk without informing the boyfriend, "It's sooo hot ... Milk was a bad choice!"
I'm also fond of, "I'm gonna slap you in public," and, when someone raises his/her voice, "Loud noises!"

Today, I invoked the Bene Gesserit Litany on Fear. It was for having to endure reading a document so bad it was painful.

BagOfBones well it is a kickass movie. I know it has more good quotes, I just can't remember them.

Speaking of Napoleon Dynamite, a few people at my place of employment watched that on the tv set in the break room. Since then, "Tina, you fat lard!" and "Gosh!" have flown about the store like so many verbal snowballs. It's pretty cute.

my all time most used and most favorite movie quote is from Labryinth. "It's so stimulating being your hat." I usually use this quote when I'm sitting with someone and there is a laps of silence and we're verging on bordome. It usally illicits a weird look. My husband doesn't get it and I've never explained it to him...but I still say it, with accent. He thinks it means something dirty. The pervert.

One of the best movie quotes for everyday life comes from American Beauty: "You wanna marry him and have like 10,000 of his babies." I love to use that. And, yeah, the Princess Bride has some great ones. I love "You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means."

Y'all so funny...
Spinal Tap is quoted at least once a day around here, but this being Austin, Dazed and Confused is our favorite quotable film. We've adapted the "Got any weed, man?" line to fit almost any question a human being can ask--"Honey, do we have any more toothpaste?", "Kids, do you have your shoes on?", "Hey, are you gonna vote Democrat?"--and when the answer is negative, we respond, "Be a lot cooler if ya did." My children (ages 8, 5, and 2) think this is just an amusing piece of the family vernacular--one day they'll see the movie and realize their parents aren't nearly as clever and original as they thought.
Then again, it's such a fine line between clever and stupid.
