Nothing beats those scenes in Freddy Got Fingered where that little kid keeps getting hurt. It's the oddest comedy scene ever. It's like a Comedic-Shocking-Sickening-Still-Funny scene that honestly? Makes me chuckle like mad. I'll regret it later.

Gotta agree with Kris, Meg Ryan and the logging truck rule!
It's just so stupid! A logging truck! That was doing about six miles an hour! And making a loud truck noise that someone on a bike in a forrest would have heard three miles away!

When I saw that movie with my best friend, by the end we were so annoyed by Meg Ryan's character that before it happened, I turned to my friend and whispered, "Dude, I hope she gets hit by a truck." And then ten seconds later, BAM. I was right. It was the best sense of instant gratification ever.

This thread is owned by one Samwise Gamgee in Lord of the Rings:Return of the King. "I can't carry it for you, Mr. Frodo, but I CAN CARRY YOU!!!" Major word. That whole scene is just one laugh after another...the whole "Can you see the shire, Mr. Frodo? The birds will be nesting in the thicket..." and on and on. I laughed. Then I lauged some more during the grand "reunion" scene where Frodo was in the bed and people kept appearing in the doorway with a big smile. I wrote a review of the movie in which I referred to this scene as "a Middle Earth version of 'This is Your Life'." Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge LOTR fan (books and movies), but the end of ROTK (IMHO, anyway), was just awful. I know it was supposed to be powerful and sad or what have you, but it just didn't work well on the screen.

I always giggle madly during the part inMaster and Commander when the French Acheron crew yells at the Surprise to surrender. I have horrible Monty Python's Holy Grail flashbacks. "Why else would I be speaking in this ridiculous accent?" etc. I'm weird.

You all remind me of my health class where we watched a video on CPR in which a guy has a heart attack and his wife revives him. The whole class was cracking up and the teacher hated us so much.

Speaking of “Master and Commander” . . . Was I the only person that laughed when Billy Boyd’s character repeated the Captain’s direction? You know, the “Aye Cap’n, sou-sou-west” scene? The over-the-top accent coupled with the fact that it’s Billy Boyd saying it, I was nearly falling out of my seat laughing when I head it the first time in the theater.

Honestly, i thought i didn't have one of these moments but that is quite untrue. It was during a viewing of "All About My Mother," one of the acclaimed Spanish director's films. About 3/4 thru the movie, as yet one more histrionic actor revealed yet another tragic plot twist, i suddenly had an "Aha!" I poked my husband and whispered "It's a comedy! It's all a satire!" and his face cleared and he smiled and nodded and we both started to laugh at everything that happened from then on. Except it isn't a comedy. Ooops...

I guffaw like mad during the "scarier" scenes in Amityville Horror when the family is being tormented. That entire film features performances so terrible, I don't care that those people are supposed to be suffering.

I laughed when Lancelot died in King Arthur. Something about the expression on his face. And he threw the sword, and it went right in that Saxon! Oh so realistic! I mean to say, if you're trying to put the realism into the legend, you could at least make the fights less ridiculous.
Edited to beige out the spoilers.
