Maybe he had some of those magic arrows from LOTR left over. Those things left the quiver & bow so quickly, in some scenes, they almost didn't look like they were really there. [/sarcasm]

The Rock has got to be the most unintentionally funny movie EVER. Ed Harris realizing that he's surrounded by crazies and getting himself killed? Hilarious. Nick Cage writhing on the floor and stabbing himself with a needle? Even better. Any part where someone is trying to keep those green balls from breaking? Comic gold.

The Rock is hilarious. Reminds me of Face/Off, which I think was also unintentionally funny. It's like, no matter what Nicholas Cage does, I just can't take him seriously. At all.

I thought the ending of The Governess was humourous. Remember when Minnie Driver's character leaves the household? Jonathan Rhys Meyer's character doesn't deal with it too well. Do you know what he does?
He thrashes around buck naked in the ocean while screaming and crying then runs out of the water and collapses on the beach to cry some more.

I wouldn't exactly say I laugh out loud during this scene, but I find it hard to take seriously: It's in Gone with the Wind when Scarlett goes tumbling down this long staircase. I don't know what it is -- That giant skirt whirling around and around as she rolls down the stairs, the way that, during her fall, she doesn't seem to miss thudding on a single step, or just the fact that it seems to go on forever. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but the movie I'm talking about above is Gone With the Wind. I'm trying to bold it and it just comes up saying "Text." I'll figure it out. The miscarriage scene? Yeah, that's pretty goofy. I always crack up during the scene where Claudia slashes Lestat's throat in Interview with the Vampire. He's crawling around on the floor making this awful gagging noise while blood streams down his throat and I just lose it. The end of Titanic when she whispers "I'll never let go Jack," while prying his cold, dead hand off of the board-and it sticks and she has to yank it off and then he sinks down into the blackness. Heeeheee! Any movie version of Great Expectations when Miss Havisham finally catches that ancient rotting wedding gown on fire and runs around the room as one giant screaming fireball.

My friends and I just died laughing at The Exorcist. It probably had something to do with the fact that there were four of us making fun of it. If I had been alone, I probably would have crapped my pants with fear. But as it stands, it was hilarious.

I know I'm late on this one, but I'm watching Signs right now and laughing my head off - too many hilarious scenes to mention. This is supposed to be a comedy, right?!

I don't remember the scene perfectly, because it was awhile ago and I was laughing soooo damn hard yet trying to be quiet...which makes me just snort every few seconds...but the scene in The English Patient, when he leaves her in the cave to go get help. I knew she was toast and I guess the movie didn't touch my cold, black heart. I laughed and laughed, bf (now dh) was appalled. He liked the movie and was annoyed at my snorting.
However, this: Made us both laugh out loud. I have corrupted him!

The miscarriage scene? Yeah, that's pretty goofy. Yes, indeed, the "miscarriage scene," if that's how you'd like to refer to it. And if you were trying to make my post sound insensitive then perhaps this is the wrong thread for you.

I never saw the actual movie, but I watched the trailer for It's my Party, where Eric Roberts is an AIDS victim who decides to kill himself rather than let the disease kill him. Well the trailer just lays it on so thick with the melodrama and then at the end they just show a lone balloon floating away while a quavering female vocalist sings a super slow and sad version of "It's my party..." that I just burst out laughing and fell on the floor. My mom, who was watching with me just went off saying "What's so funny about that! The man is dying!" and I was just gasping for breath going "But... but... The Balloon! The cheesy song... The drama..." which only seemed to make my mom more disgusted with me.
Yep, I'm adopted.
Also from a couple pages back:
I take my cues from Monster's Ball and yell "CAN YA MAKE ME FEEL GUUUUUUUUUDDD!!".... oh... just 'cause ;D
