The Fran Dreischer mention above reminded me that Paul Shaffer (David Letterman's bandleader) also had a role in Spinal Tap, as did Billy Crystal and Dana Carvey as a couple of mime waiters.

Chris Isaak in The Silence of the Lambs. He plays a cop on the SWAT team that goes after Hannibal in the hotel sequence. I think Chris Isaak is also a hitman in Married to the Mob? |

TTMR recently re-watched Galaxy Quest, and we were surprised to see Rainn "Dwight Schrute" Wilson playing one of the aliens who comes to request help from Tim Allen.
In Pat Benatar's "Shadows of the Night" video, I'm pretty sure you can see Judge Reinhold as a pilot and a young Bill Paxton as a Nazi.

My friend's kids and I were watching Time after Time (HG Wells chases Jack the Ripper from 19th through 20th centuries via his Time Machine). When Wells pops into modern-day San Francisco, the little kid staring at him is Corey Feldman! We all cracked up because he looks exactly the same.

I realize this is from 2005 but I didn't see it until now and I just have to say that Martin Sheen's character is [coincidentally?] named "Benjamin Willard," the names of Ford's oldest sons. His own character is named "G[eorge] Lucas."
Back on topic [and actually dating back before this thread?], it took me almost the whole first season of "24" to realize President David Palmer was the voodoo practicing outfielder in "Major League."

Divaspawn2 went to a lockin last night where the boys watched Angels in the Outfield. I came in at pickup time, and watched just long enough to see that two of the Angels players were Matthew McConaughey and Adrien Brody.
