AnnaLynne McCord has a message for Vladimir Putin. She was born too late to be a good mother to him To borrow a line from 1984 Dune, "Usul, we have Cringe-sign the likes of which not even God has seen!"

I actually think we should applaud this woman, whoever she is, for giving us a "Gal Godot singing Imagine" moment to make fun of while this war is going on. Somebody had to step up!

Funniest statement I saw in response to the video "I cringed so hard I'm now a raisin." Also have seen a lot of memes of Putin on the phone that say "Call off the invasion, the girl from 90210 wants to hug me."

Ok, that was bad.
But I have been musing this afternoon. Vlad is an asshole of biblical proportions, but he is also a big Beatles fan.
What if Paul and Ringo issued a statement along the lines of “Fuck you, Vlad. Strong language to follow….”
I mean, sure they wouldn’t do THAT, but maybe a public statement expressing disappointment that he appears to have utterly missed the point of every song they ever wrote.
Certainly no worse than…whatever THAT was.

Don’t know about that, but before I was with 1964, they played in Berlin when the Wall had just come down, and people from East Germany kept telling stories of their love of the Beatles. In the Wind of Change podcast, a lot is made of the bootlegging scene behind the Iron Curtain. One of the most amazing things someone tried to give to 64, was a sheet of x-ray film that had been used to make a floppy phonograph record of a Beatles album. If you’re old enough, remember the Monkees and Bobby Sherman records that were on the Honey Comb cereal boxes? Like that. Reagan took credit for ending the Cold War, but I remain convinced it wasn’t St. Ronnie, but was in fact Levi Strauss and the Beatles.

Yeah, the Jane Campion remark on the Williams sisters was so unnecessary and cringe. And after she dealt so well with Elliott's idiocy, too. It's like every "Rich White Lady Feminism" stereotype come to life...

Oh Jane, no. Her response to Sam Elliot's butthurt was so good, and then her comments on the Williams sisters was so shitty and unnecessary. This far into their careers and some people just STILL can't help being assholes about them.
