Jennifer Love Hewitt has a good voice. I like her song "How Do I Deal".
And of course there was also "Let's Go Bang".

Evan Rachel Wood has a pretty good singing voice. She used to sing sometimes when she was on Once and Again.

I like She & Him. Zoey's voice is an acquired taste, but the songs are very good.

Mr. d and I were talking about this thread, and he reminded me that Christopher Plummer's singing was not at all unpleasant in The Sound of Music.

Christopher Plummer didn't do his own singing in The Sound of Music, he was dubbed by Bill Lee. He desperately wanted to use his own voice and he took voice lessons throughout the production, but the filmmakers ultimately decided that his singing voice wasn't good enough.

First I've heard of that. Maybe that's part of the reason that Plummer sort of derided the film for years--he used to refer to it as The Sound of Mucus.

I have 2 albums by Minnie Driver. The songwriting isn't earthshattering, but she has a nice voice. Considering she was cajoled into releasing albums by her friends, she's pretty good.
And, don't forget Emergency's nurse Dixie McCall! Before Emergency! and guest appearances on Match Game, Julie London was a pretty popular jazz singer. I have a slew of her records.
