Agreed about Colbert. He sang Cheap Rewards when Elvis Costello was on a while back and it was great.
I think he can act. He did an episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent a few years ago where he played the perp of the week, he was pretty good. I remember stumbling over a rerun of it and being blown away.

He has a gorgeous singing voice. Honestly I don't think he gets enough credit for how vocally talented he is. He does have a wonderful voice plus he can sing as Stewie and Brian. To say nothing of the mellifluous range of American Dad. He can sing as Brian, Stewie AND Peter. Peter has an irritating voice, but he sings well with it. That is pretty impressive that he can sing well in three different voices. Plus American Dad (though he's almost just a variation on Brian). He also voices Quagmire, but I don't know if he's ever sung more than a few bars. In the last Futurama movie released about year or so ago (Into the Wild Green Yonder, I think) Seth also sang the opening Dean Martin-esque song. Actually (and I don't know if they all count as celebrities) I am kinda amazed in general at how cartoon voice actors can sing in voices that aren't their own.

That song in the Futurama movie was great, he sings best when he sings as himself or Brian (which is pretty much his own voice.)
I'm amazed by some voice actors in general. Like if I knew nothing at all about Family Guy I would never think that the same person did the voices for Peter, Brian, Stewie, Quagmire, Tom Tucker, and Carter Pewterschmidt. Nor would I have guessed that Seth Green does Chris.

Doesn't Seth also do the voice of Roger on American Dad? Because that is a HUGE deviation from the others.
And Colbert was awesome on Strangers with Candy.

Man, when I found out a few years ago Christopher Plummer didn't do his own vocals in the sound of music I was crushed. Totally crushed. The movie just isn't the same for me now.
I totally agree with Stephen Colbert. The first time I saw him sing was his rendition of Cheap Rewards and I was blown away.
And I humbly submit Jensen Ackles. I doubt he's record making material, but certainly pleasant to listen to.

Seth does indeed voice Roger on American Dad. I'd love to just watch him in the recording booth someday.

I totally agree about his voice. I've had that song on my iPod for years. It always made me with they had also done a musical episode of "Angel".
