There's an episode of Deep Space Nine where Sisko bursts into song. Of course Avery Brooks has that wonderful rich baritone speaking voice, so it was no surprise that his singing voice was very nice. I don't think I've ever heard him do a full song, though.

I'm thinking I've heard Patrick Stewart sing before, and he, too, has a very nice singing voice. *goes over to Celebs Who Think They Can Sing thread to see if anyone's mentioned Shatner yet*

I was watching an episode of "Family Guy" last weekend, and Seth McFarlane has a really nice voice, too. I'm not sure if he qualifies as a "celebrity" but I was impressed.

And, don't forget Emergency's nurse Dixie McCall! Before Emergency! and guest appearances on Match Game, Julie London was a pretty popular jazz singer. I have a slew of her records. Oh, god--Julie's "Cry Me A River" is incredible! Was hers the original version? I think it was... It is, in fact the original version. It was written specifically for her by a high school classmate of hers (according to the liner notes on her first record). She does an amazing job with it in The Girl Can't Help It.

To say nothing of the mellifluous range of American Dad.

Don't forget Stewie, he can sing as him too. The FCC Song? Brilliance.

John Travolta did his own vocals in Grease. There is also David Hasselhoff. I remember when Catherine Hickland (who was his wife at the time) guest-starred on Knight Rider, and they would sing duets. Kassie DePaiva (Blair on ABC's One Life to Live) has a side gig as a country singer.

Jeremy Northam's singing in Gosford Park was lovely.
Stephen Colbert sings occasionally on his show and does it pretty well (when he's not being intentionally goofy). The opening song on his Christmas special was a real showstopper. I don't know if he can act, but I've always thought he would be great as a dorky romantic comedy lead.
