I did get Dr. Jack Shepard and I am very happy about that. Although I doubt the article explains the most important mystery of all: Why is Matthew Fox shaved?!?! grrrr

Yeah, if you don't want to be spoiled about who's making reappearances, don't read the issue. Although I had guessed most of who they'd bring back.
I saw the Kate cover and laughed. Man, people do NOT like her character.
I was surprised about the writers' previous work too. Just a very interesting story of how this all came together (and almost didn't).

So Damon and Carlton came to DreamWorks on Friday. They were amazing. We had them for a private lunch and then they spoke to our campus for an hour. It was so interesting talking to them about their process. I also got an autographed poster.... which shall remain in my office! - They were asked to make a pilot about a plane crash. They did, then thought how the hell are we going to sustain this? Mythology came in the 2nd season. They both have fantastic memories, but rely on a continuity man to keep them in check.
- They've been frustrated by folks focusing on things like polar bears, Nikki and Paulo, and why did Jin choose Sun over their daughter.
- The actor who played Mr. Eko was so poisonous to the overall atmosphere that they killed him off before they were ready to. He was suppose to be the ultimate man of faith.
- They've been crying like crazy all month... so be prepared to grab tissues for these final episodes.
Obviously, there was quite a bit more. If you have any specific questions, I'll try to answer them.

I got a Sawyer too. Daniel Dae Kim has a restaurant?! He's a co-investor in a franchise of "The Counter." It's next door to the Whole Foods where my dad keeps seeing Naveen Andrews. Sadly, I've never seen any Losties in person, except for an ambiguously Matthew Fox-ish guy at a restaurant. ETA: Oh, wow, cool, Martini Girl!

I never would've guessed that about Adewale (Eko). Come to think of it, I don't recall any interviews with him or much press on him on the show, period. I wonder what he did?

I saw the Kate cover and laughed. Man, people do NOT like her character. True story- when I got mine and looked at the line next to her that says, "We'll miss you, Kate!" I thought it was a sarcastic joke.

Obviously, there was quite a bit more. If you have any specific questions, I'll try to answer them. Thanks for the dirt Martini Girl ( I am completely envious BTW) I have a question pertaining to the "rules" of the show...Lindelof gave an interview with SciFi in which he was quoted as saying ..." As the show progresses, he added, it won't venture too far into science fiction as its mysteries unfold. "We're still trying to be ... firmly ensconced in the world of science fact," he said in an interview. "I don't think we've shown anything on the show yet ... that has no rational explanation in the real world that we all function within. We certainly hint at psychic phenomena, happenstance and ... things being in a place where they probably shouldn't be. But nothing is flat-out impossible. There are no spaceships. There isn't any time travel." forum.thefuselage.com/showthread.php?t=107730So WTF? how did the show stray so far from the original canon? Did he address this at all? many thanks in advance
