Well, I climbed onto this thread expecting to defend ol' Brit (I have always sort of liked him), but I just can't. Man, that IS kinda awful. Who would even think such a thing at a time like that? Cold fish, indeed.

I usually watch Fox News Sunday and he's always the downside to me (and that's with Bill Kristol on the panel). It's like he never really acknowledges others viewpoints (esp. Juan Williams).

BH wasn't the only FauxNews asshole to say something stupid about the July 7 bombings. Upon threat of painful death, I will not watch any FOX news, even my local affiliate, and I've long ago written to tell them so. They are all evil, lying propagandists.

"If they had picked France instead of London to hold the Olympics, it would have been the one time we could look forward to where we didn't worry about terrorism. They'd blow up Paris, and who cares?" He added: "This is why I thought the Brits should let the French have the Olympics - let somebody else be worried about guys with backpack bombs for a while."

Can you imagine the uproar if oh say a French newscaster had said this about New York City getting games. Give me a break.

My local FOX affiliate doesn't even air any news program. In more major markets, do the FOX affiliates have some sort of nightly news program that goes up against Tom Brokaw, Peter Jennings, and whoever replaced Dan Rather?

I was at the gym and FNC was on the TV--some asshole was criticzing Tony Blair for staying committed to discussing the issues in Africa at the G8 instead of forgetting about Africa and only talking about the terrorism attack. I was appalled.

This "pundit" (I forget his name) then made fun of Bono for asking "rich countries to give money to poor countries" while wearing a "tuxedo". Firstly, Bono did not have a tuxedo on in the clip they showed, and secondly, the last time I checked the Fox News anchors aren't up there in white T-shirts and potato sack pants themselves.
