I watched Fierce Creatures, a comedy with John Cleese and Jamie Lee Curtis. I was surprised as to how NOT funny it was. So boring.

I just watched Buried with Ryan Reynolds... which is basically just Ryan Reynolds stuck in a coffin with a cell phone. However it's pretty terrifying.

I was crushing on Emma Thompson & Kenneth Branaugh during their romance heyday, so I rented Much Ado About Nothing. Loved it, then...Not so enamored of it, last night. Bummer. Still...I loved seeing Denzel, Keanu, and a very young Kate Beckinsale in the Italian countryside.

Oh, don't tell me that, Witchie -- it's one of our favorites (as old, old friends who finally hooked up, Mr. S. and I see a little of ourselves in Benedick and Beatrice, and we own it on VHS, plus I think it's one of Denzel's best roles ever), and Mr. S. just recorded it in high-def. I hate to think it'll be a disappointment.

I stayed home sick yesterday (and will again today) so it's a weekend of movies and interneting. I watched Capitalism: A Love Story and was sickened by what I already knew, but sickened none the less. I also watched most of Mister Lonely but didn't finish it. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't very good, plus I got distracted by what I was cooking. I also watched It's Complicated for the sixth time. Why does this movie attract me so much. It's nothing spectacular it's just that it has a good cast that also share great comedic timing. I think Meryl Streep is so damn sexy in this too.
