Patterned pads would give me nightmares. I guarantee this was a man's idea.

I haven't seen the commercial, but I was googling around to see what the patterns looked like, and I can't find any mention of them.

Seriously.
BTW, I caught that hunter shooting/car ad, and maybe it's regional but I didn't think it was funny either. So he's got a big car and shoots everything that disturbs his sleep--and that's how we know he's a real man? Interesting strategy, car-selling people.

Yeah, not so much. (I have a box of the tampons, but I had a desperate need for super plus and it was all Wallyworld had in a smallish package. They're not decorated - just neon plastic applicators.)

Wait, wasn't U by Kotex the brand that had the sarcastic ad a while back mocking other feminine hygiene commercials? This new ad sounds dreadfully conventional. Those patterns are inoffensive and cute enough, but I'm not paying extra for curlicues and colored wrappers. (After the funny ad, I thought about buying their product until I saw that U is priced higher than regular Kotex.)

I'm really enjoying Alec Baldwin's commercials for Capital One and absolutely flove the commercial where he's giving John Krasinski a verbal smackdown over baseball.

The commercial for TLC's "Who Killed Chandra Levy" must be pissing off former congressman Gary Condit. The conviction of the real killer finally exonerated him of any and all complicity in her death and this commercial basically makes it look like their affair was somehow involved. There's barely a hint that anyone else was responsible.

I can't help it. I laugh hysterically every time I see Foghorn Leghorn reading Dickens in the GEICO commercial. And I laugh even harder when he is presumably beaten with a bat off camera.

I love this commercial too! I laugh every time because I remember the chicken doing that to him in the cartoon. Yes, I am aging myself.
