I hate that Domino's commercial. Some guy in his underwear is not something I want to see when thinking about food.
I also HATE the Facebook kazoo commercial. HATE.

I was okay with the Facebook kazoo commercial at first, but I hate it now because of how overplayed it is. Also I hate the sign guy from Progressive. I probably have my tinfoil hat on too tightly lol, but I feel like Progressive did a bunch of new commercials with that punchable looking guy to make the commercials with Flo and the rest of the insurance agents seem more entertaining. I also feel that way when Sprint added someone to the "Can You Hear Me Now" guy commercials, but for me it backfired because I still don't like that guy and found the woman more likable even if they tried to make her come off as annoying. |

The professor in that Facebook kazoo conference sounds so much like David Scwimmer as Ross Gellar it’s disconcerting.

While the latest Volvo commercial doesn't bother me, the song? "Do you remember when we used to walk on sidewalks?" Yes. In fact, I just did that before walking into the house. In fact, I do that daily and probably will for decades.

There are these Casper mattress commercials. The boxed mattress that come in the mail. This family buys a king for the parents, two twins for the kids and a dog bed. The husband goes on and on about how he thought the dog bed was for him. Shut the fuck up. The wife is all...no you can sleep in the big bed. It's annoying every time it comes on.

Related, the host of the Ologies podcast does an ad for Casper’s sponsorship that she ends with “...and my dog’s butt” in a conspiratorial whisper. It makes me laugh.

Those Progressive commercials with the “Mo-taur” just creep me right out. Eeeew! Aaack! (The one where he’s drinking gas out of a cup while he’s putting gas in his tank is the worst, but I couldn’t find that one). Quoting myself because they made one that’s WORSE - where the “Mo-taur” is on a cliff with his normal buddy watching other motaurs run in the wild!!!!!!Seriously, people, just because you can do creepy CGI doesn’t mean you should. God. |
