I also love the one for the other insurance company (Progressive I think) with the coach that is coaching people on how to not turn into their parents. "Now, she's using her speaker phone in a public place....is that a good idea?" 'We all see it.....we all see it....' and then one of his clients blurts 'HE HAS BLUE HAIR!.' "I'm having a big lunch and then just a snack for dinner." LOL, I really do love these commercials. |

Have you guys seen the Dole Fruit Bowls commercials where the grownups use “fruit bowls” as a euphemism? I feel like they’re trying to be a GEICO style commercial. It doesn’t work.

Have you guys seen the Dole Fruit Bowls commercials where the grownups use “fruit bowls” as a euphemism? I feel like they’re trying to be a GEICO style commercial. It doesn’t work. I don’t like those at all because I feel that they’re trying too hard to be funny, and it doesn’t work because like there aren’t a million different words they could use instead of fruit bowls as a euphemism. I give them small props I guess for the grandparents still having an appetite as it were, but I think the Downy, I think it is commercial, does it better when the grandparents try to hide what they’ve been up to after their grandson gets the wrong impression when he sees them coming out of a closet with wrinkled clothes. Plus the use of Pop Pop by the grandson reminds me of Arrested Development, so that’s always a bonus. |

I sure am glad that I won’t miss the deadline to CALL NOW to change my Medicare benefits because the deadline is coming soon and multiple advertisers are running 50 commercials an hour to remind me.
The enrollment period ends December 6th! CALL NOW!

I hate the Zoe Kravitz ASMR commercial. It’s irritating as hell, and the beer in question—even when cold—tastes like what warm piss smells like. I didn't realize this commercial was ASMR until I read about it in an article. Even though I have seen numerous ASMR videos that are either creepy or comforting to me (there's no middle ground!). But those were mostly visual, not auditory. I was today years old when I learned that this commercial was supposed to be ASMR. (I have only discovered ASMR for myself within the past six months.) |
