I think it would be kind of cute if they change the place that he ordered from every time!

Has anyone seen the John-Goodman-as-a-finger (I don't know how else to describe it) lottery commercial? Just really freaking weird. From what diseased mind did this concept emerge, and why did he agree to do it??

The new Allstate commercial with the woman rolling through town picking up things as she goes? ugh. But it does feature "A Lovely Day" by Bill Withers, a song I loved back in the 70's and still do.

From what diseased mind did this concept emerge, and why did he agree to do it?? Yeah, it made me wonder if he had gambling debts or something. I love that song too, but really dislike the rest of it.

I also love the one for the other insurance company (Progressive I think) with the coach that is coaching people on how to not turn into their parents. "Now, she's using her speaker phone in a public place....is that a good idea?" 'We all see it.....we all see it....' and then one of his clients blurts 'HE HAS BLUE HAIR!.' Insurance advertising is really entertaining isn't it?

Insurance advertising is really entertaining isn't it? I don't like Liberty Mutual's ads with the Insurance Agent and the Emu, but I do like some of their ads where they feature people in front of the Statue of Liberty especially the ones of the actor who can't get his lines right. Even the ones with the guy dressed up as a cell phone make me laugh a lot for some reason.

I don't know what it is about insurance advertising, but they're consistently hilarious. All the ones mentioned above, all the Geico adds, State Farm with Peyton Manning, Farmer's with JK Simmons... I've wondered, do they all use the same agency? Maybe the same marketing exec moves from company to company making his/her stamp?
