Searched and couldn't find a thread for her which was bit surprising given that she seems be getting a lot of publicity in the US at the moment....and because she's AWESOME. Loving her new album "21" which may be on course to replacing Christina Aguilera's "Stripped" as my favourite break up album.... Adele on Letterman...And at the Brits...

Yeah, she's really talented.
She has range in her voice, but I like that she doesn't over-sing.
She infuses her songs with a lot of feeling, but without showing you the effort she's putting into it.

"21" is a great album. So was the first one.
I like the fact that she is continuing in that great English tradition of female blue eyed soul singers like Dusty Springfield, Allison Moyet, and yes, Amy Winehouse.
She seems humble as well.

I love this album at the moment, and her Brits performance was amazing. It's refreshing that someone can turn up to an awards ceremony and simply sing their song, and have it go straight to no.1 (in the UK, and I think "Rolling in the deep" is still in the top 5 too). With songs like this, and a voice like Adele's, you don't need to arrive on the red carpet in an egg or wearing rotting meat.

I have loved her since 19 when I stumbled upon "Chasing Pavements" accidentally. She is awesome!
My one caveat: Her last two albums have been inspired by breakups. I sort of want to hear her sing about a wider range of things her next go-around since a lot of her songs come from the same emotional place.
But still, I think she is great. I really want her to have a strong career and I love that the U.S. seems to be catching on to her (being from the U.S. and all, hah).

I just purchased her latest on ITunes and am waiting for it to finish downloading. Love her!

I just love her. Her voice is incredible and her music is fantastic. Straight up and down talent. No gimmicks. Bloody refreshing!
I liked '19' but I'm ass-backwards in love with '21'. I don't think a day has passed since buying that album that I haven't not listened to it. She has an uncanny knack for singing and writing songs that just punch you in the gut. I can't listen to 'Someone Like You' without wanting to cry.
She is also hilarious. I saw her interview with Alan Carr on youtube a couple of weeks ago and laughed my arse off.
