What's with this stupid pandering to Beyoncé? So what her album didn't win. Going on about how much you love her makes you look ridiculous, Adele. You aren't an ingénue - you've been in this industry for a decade now. Expect that you might win something. The Grammy Awards are a joke anyway. Reminds me of Billy Crystal's "Sorry, Bill" to Bill Murray after he lost in the best actor category at the Oscars. Sooo disrespectful to the person who actually won (damn if I can remember who it was, though. )

Tom and Lorenzo had a good review of this, and I agree that there's a bit too much going on but it's not a disaster. But I love seeing a larger lady look so beautiful in an elegant Givenchy gown. She just glows and I adore her.

I feel like she was overcompensating for the backlash that I'm sure is happening because OHMYGODHOWCANQUEENBEYONCENOTWINEVERYTHINGAUTOMATICALLY? Sorry, I know I'm one of the few that doesn't like her, but it warms my heart that Beyonce was shut out.
I love the color of Adele's dress and the dress overall, but I agree with tabby that I'd prefer a lower neckline.

I wonder if the sleeves were added for modesty at her request? I could see it as a complete dress, with a pretty cool neckline, without them...

Yeah, it's impossible that Adele genuinely loves Beyonce, even though she's been stanning Beyonce for her entire career. Beyonce should have won AOTY, Adele's album was boring and she's shown no growth in her music since 19. Chasing Pavements is still her best song.
On the upside, I love her dress; the color is gorgeous on her.

I liked both her performance dresses better than the one she wore on the red carpet.
And while she is Adele, and did a beautiful performance, complete with having the balls to stop it because she realized she was off key (how does that happen??) I kinda wish the George Michael tribute was something more upbeat. She could've rocked Freedom. With a choir or something.

I totally agree scarletprincess. I absolutely love Adele and think she's got an incredible voice. I give her big props for how she handled the situation. That said, I didn't feel like that one song was really representative of George Michael and his career. I felt pretty cheated honestly.

Billboard explains why Fastlove was a great choice. It's similar to Michael Buble's melancholy version of Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You". Underneath the cruising free sex of the song, there's still that yearning for "something more". I will really miss George. Adele chose well. Edited to add: This is the actual story, but the other one counts too.

The latest pictures I see of her (from Drake's birthday party and the beach) are giving me a very strong Jerry Hall vibe. I think it's the Veronica Lake hair.
