She’s always been beautiful but the way she’s allegedly gone about losing weight, juice diets and consuming only 1000 calories a day sounds really dangerous and unhealthy.

The latest pictures I see of her (from Drake's birthday party and the beach) are giving me a very strong Jerry Hall vibe. I think it's the Veronica Lake hair. I saw one recently and I straight up thought she was Sarah Paulson.

There’s a new picture of Adele, her body looks amazing. But I have to say, face wise, I loved her pre-weight loss face. I always considered it so beautiful. Not that her weight loss has caused her face to become ugly, but I am bias to her pre-weight loss face.

Not only dangerous but unsustainable, as well Definitely unsustainable for me, but the more I read these celebrity "What I Eat in a Day" articles, the more I think an extreme weight loss diet is just standard for so many female celebrities. Courtesy of US Weekly, I found out that Julianne Hough and Jenna Dewan each top out at about 1,200 calories daily and do significant dancing/exercising each day. Each article came with a nutritionist warning at the bottom that said this is not a healthy amount of food, especially for a dancer. Recently, Kelly Ripa did a "What I Eat in a Day" for Harper's Bazaar. She exercises 6 days a week, always skips breakfast and the remainder of her food during the day is coffee, fruit, nuts, salad and tofu. It was so extreme, one wonders why she would even think it was a good idea to share that information publicly.

When I lost a significant amount of weight and was working out a lot, my calories weren't that low (probably closer to 1700) and my hair started falling out - not in chunks, but my usual shedding was noticeably heavier. I added more protein to my diet and it helped, but I can't image how bad it would be if I were dancing all the time and only eating 1200. But maybe the body gets used to it after a while? Anyway, if Adele is healthy and happy, then good for her. I too thought she was gorgeous pre-weight loss, and I'm amazed at how different her face looks (not worse, just significantly different).

I remember Kelly Ripa said years ago that she never stopped taking prenatal vitamins, so she is probably making up for the lack of food by getting her nutrients through mega-dose supplements.

I remember People used to do a “what I eat in a day” feature in the magazine. They regularly had to post disclaimers that the calorie counts these celebs were eating in a day weren’t healthy.
The articles usually went like: wake up, have a green juice, lunch is salad, dinner is salad or roasted veggies with lean chicken or fish. Snacks would be a handful of grapes, or a “treat” would be 5 chocolate covered almonds. If you had someone really indulging they might have a glass of wine.
It’s bizarre to me that the plans seemed pretty real. You would think there would have been more “I love burgers and somehow I’m a size 00!”

I always remember Kate Hudson's pregnancy weight loss smoothie ingredients were measured out by the berry: three blueberries, one strawberry...
