Agree with everyone about Adele's face. Prettier with more weight. There was a time when she seemed unhealthy but then she seemed to find a weight where she looked Rubenesque. And she probably looked heavier because she was hanging around underweight celebrities, which leads me to...
Those "What I Eat" articles are all bullshit. First there are a lot of exercise bulimics. They eat very healthy and they exercise like mad. I love Kate Beckinsale, her IG is a riot, but I think she is an exercise bulimic. It's deceptive because it seems reasonable but the over-exercising will destroy your joints long term, and you are forcing your body to burn immediately after ingesting food (instead of throwing up, after a meal you jump on the treadmill for thirty minutes). Dancers are a whole different beast.
There's also a lot of drug abuse happening. Back in the day I heard Rachel Zoe was pushing clenbuterol to her stylist clients. Also all the ADD/ADHD drugs are being totally abused.
There's also a lot of IV supplemental use. Celebs get boatloads of vitamins and fluids dumped in through IVs. I heard this was most common during award season. Women weren't eating anything, just getting IVs for the 2-3 weeks up until the Oscars.
And of course body type and genetics. Not everyone is meant to look like a stop sign with hair.

At this point I automatically disbelieve pretty much all articles on how celebs diet/exercise. So many of them are either "I eat burgers every day and never exercise and am still a size 2!" or "I have 6oz green juice for breakfast, a kale and avocado salad for lunch, seven almonds for a snack, and 3oz salmon with 4oz green beans for dinner. Sometimes I go wild and have five strawberries for dessert! Then I work out for 8 hours a day."

It’s not just the thinness that’s throwing me, it’s the fake tan. She doesn’t look like herself. She looks generic. She has such a stunning complexion, the super tan is making me cringe.
I think being in the public eye if you want to look a certain way it basically means signing up for a lifetime of deprivation and associated health problems.

I agree that her diet is extreme. She's a freakin millionare she can hire a personal trainer & a dietitian. Losing or gaining weight fast is bad for you.
She looks strange because we're not used to her looking like this.

I had to do a double take because it didn't look like her but that being said good for her she has found the discipline that I never could and made a huge life choice to eat like she has been.

If Adele is happy, good for her. I hate that the press feels the need to celebrate or comment on her weight loss, though it seems as though she disappeared and VOILA!
Had this been more gradual and it didn't feel like she was hidden away until RESULTS!, then it may have been a different story.
But she has a right to her privacy and to live and look the way that makes her happiest, so in that vein, "Good for her."
As someone who has experienced major weight loss in my life (100 lbs about 12-10 years ago... took me three years to lose slowly), I know how life-changing and mind-fucking it can be. People suddenly treating you differently like you're a better person bc of it. I hope she has a big group of people she can trust around her.

In the second photo down she looks like the Hope from DooL. I'm glad she's doing what makes her feel happy and healthy, but I do miss the old Adele. link

I admire her discipline and I hope she has found something that works for her and doesn't yo-yo diet like Oprah did all those years ago.

Recently, Kelly Ripa did a "What I Eat in a Day" for Harper's Bazaar. She exercises 6 days a week, always skips breakfast and the remainder of her food during the day is coffee, fruit, nuts, salad and tofu. It was so extreme, one wonders why she would even think it was a good idea to share that information publicly. I think it's because it's so common in their world. They don't even realize that it's not abnormal or unhealthy. I've really tried hard to be all "Eat a sandwich" because I hate beating up on women for their weight. But honestly in my opinion - Adele went a little to far with the weight loss. She looked better about a month ago. The last 10-20bs she lost makes her look haggard.

I'm so happy that she's keeping this and doing this for herself, no one else. But I will say, this new photo of her made me do a double take. She doesn't look anything like her former self. I mean really, I would NEVER think that was Adele in a million years. Not trying to judge, just pointing out that the transformation is incredible!
