Have read lots of rumors that the cancellation is all creative conflicts and not staffing/supply chain stuff. It makes sense because if they didn’t have the staff or some stage props they would have known earlier than 24 hours before the show, and wouldn’t have postponed the full run of shows. I feel bad for those who flew all the way to Vegas for it, canceling with that little notice is not a great way to treat ticket holders. Yeah, word on the street is that Adele wanted a simple, stripped down show. I went to a concert on her 2016 tour and it was a very simple stage and she wore the same dress the whole night! For Vegas though, parts of her team apparently wanted a much glitzier, bombastic show to suit the Vegas aesthetic, which led to many creative differences of opinion. You think they would have figured this out months ago, but there you go.

She didn't need anything except her band and a microphone. The biggest "effect" was some rain during one of the songs. She is funny, and told stories and had moments with the audience. She doesn't need a Vegas style show.

I think the whole thing was a clash of egos. It seems like Adele liked he appeal of a residency, being able to perform without being on the road and figured she could do her style of show because she's a big star. Caesars figured everyone knows what kinds of shows they do in Vegas, and they're such a big deal that Adele would adapt to the Vegas style. Clearly they should have talked a lot more before signing the contract.

I read somewhere (probably not very reputable) that the Vegas people wanted Adele in a pool while she was singing. Or some kind of water element was involved. I can see not being crazy about that option. I immediately think, 1) what would I wear? 2) what about electricity and the potential for accidents? 3) what about slipping and the potential for accidents, and 4) what about drowning and the potential for accidents?
I read elsewhere (more reputable) that Keith Urban was going to take over some of her dates.

The details would have been hammered out before agreements and contracts were signed and Adele has a history of canceling events and performances last minute. I just feel bad for the folks who were unable to cancel flights and hotels, etc. But too bad, because they had the means to buy tickets and book travel - so they’ll be alright.

It doesn’t sound right to me. The conflict is that Caesar’s wants to spend more money on a production instead of less? The run of shows was already sold out, it’s not like they had to put on a more spectacular show to sell more tickets. Something’s not smelling quite right with this.

Yes - Adele has done a number of interviews where she has talked about how she struggles with severe stage fright. I can see Adele being a perfectionist about the show, freaking out because certain set pieces and segments weren't "working" the way she wanted them to, and then letting her stage fright get the best of her.

I can see Adele being a perfectionist about the show, freaking out because certain set pieces and segments weren't "working" the way she wanted them to, and then letting her stage fright get the best of her. If this is the case, perhaps she needs to stick to small intimate venues and also, get out of the habit of canceling last minute. It's her responsibility as a professional to learn how to manage things - being perfectionist is great but that's not an excuse to habitually cancel shows and concerts last minute after people have paid money (in some cases a lot of money) to come see you perform.

I've never seen her appeal, except that she's a White woman with a big voice.
