I've never liked Adele. It's great that people are seeing her for who she really is.

I understand the accommodations Wynn’s is providing her is a Villa on a golf course? She is with her son and I can see wanting the privacy and outdoor space.
I’m not a follower, but the fanciest suite at the top of the tallest resort hotel in Las Vegas (with a butler) vs a Villa on a golf course, and I have my 10 yo son and his nanny/teacher? I’d pick the golf course.

I've never liked Adele. It's great that people are seeing her for who she really is. I don't have incredibly strong feelings about her, but I think her songs are overrated and she's a little annoying. She's also dumb and conspicuously nouveau riche. But the world seemed to think she was the cutest and most charming thing ever until she mishandled her Vegas residency. She recently announced she's going to get an online degree in English Literature in her free time because her true calling was English Literature teacher. Her dumb ass graduated from a performing arts high school 15 years ago and I doubt being rich and famous has prepared her to dedicate herself to four years of higher education, even if it's online. But she probably thought it sounded like a smart thing to say. I understand the accommodations Wynn’s is providing her is a Villa on a golf course? She is with her son and I can see wanting the privacy and outdoor space. I’d pick the golf course. I'd pick a rental house that's not on the strip. It's fun and all, but to live there long-term? Nah.

She is doing the Las Vegas residency at Caesar's so they offered her a luxury suite. It wasn't to her liking, so she got one at Wynn's instead. And somehow the world found out, so Caesar's comes out looking a bit like the cuckold. Somehow? I think we can safely say that Wynn made sure that news got out. It was a huge win for them Famvir the issue isn't really that she didn't want to live in the suite she was provided. I can understand wanting to live somewhere more family friendly. But the fact that she went to their biggest competitor is dirty. There had to be somewhere that met her needs without going to the competition.

Not to mention her originally reported issue with the suite offered by Caesar's was that it wasn't in their absolute most exclusive property. They are her employer, and she just allowed them to be publicly embarrassed. After the abrupt cancelation of her show the first time, it almost looks like she is trying to make herself toxic in Vegas. Maybe she's not, buy if not she needs to say something rather than let Wynn's publicly gloat.

I have never liked her and I like her even less now that her preferred pronunciation of her name is uh-del-w.
That's not a pronunciation darling. It's an accent. Your name is Adele but the people in your life have an accent and pronounce it adelw, it is they who have been pronouncing it "wrong".
For example the name, Isabelle. With an American accent we say Iz-a-belle but you might meet a French person who calls you. e-zah-belle. Both are correct. Adele would pronounce it Is-ah-belw and there is nothing wrong with that, it's her accent.
What would be incorrect and even mocking or pretentious, imo, would be me as an American saying Adelw....
It's like your family always pronounced Tortilla (tor-til-a) and then becoming telling a celebrity chef and telling the world they're saying it wrong.
And bridge is not pronounced breege...

Don't be ashamed of mocking her being an entitled bougie who wants a special pronunciation of her name, hildymatildy. I never liked her and I'm deeply upset she's still around unlike the other "British white woman who sounds African American" that are justifiably obscure (Joss Stone? Duffy? Jessie J? Anyone? Bueller?). The trashfire that is the Rolling Stone's "The 200 Greatest Singers of All Time" has Amy Winehouse at number 83 (at least she made the list unlike the 2008 one) and Adele at 22? Even Adele admits she wouldn't have a career without Winehouse (and Winehouse was and is the superior singer). I always have celebrities I don't like without a feasible reason until it happens (thanks, Will Smith!), so it's a waiting game between near-unanimous praise to a backlash. I glad there are more concrete reasons (cornrows/Jamaican flag, abrupt cancellation, diva demands) to justify it now! Amy, may your memory be a blessing.

I've never had a strong feeling about her one way or the other. She was charming early on. It is weird that someone so young does this very adult contemporary ass music and is now doing Vegas. At her age, creatively, it feels like she should be doing something much more interesting but I guess she's just a basic bee-yotch.

I genuinely like Adele's music, a lot. I think she's got a great voice and writes some great music. That said:
- The fact that she ranked higher than Winehouse is a travesty. An absolute travesty.
- I'm liking the person - or at least public facing personality less and less.

I could never get past Amy Winehouse's image to like her music.
